Sniper Files #3 The Kill
As the moon hung low in the night sky, casting shadows across the deserted alley, I watched them from the rooftop opposite the dimly lit apartment building. The general's daughter, Olena, stood on the balcony, her silhouette joined by that of her lover, Andrei. They seemed lost in each other, unaware of the danger lurking in the darkness below.
I adjusted the scope on my rifle, my breath steady despite the adrenaline coursing through my veins. This was the moment I had trained for, the mission I had been assigned by my superiors. But as I stared through the crosshairs, doubt...

A Persian Warrior
- A Persian Warrior -
In a time known to history, but forgotten by man,
The mighty Persian army brought low old Babylon.
Great was Babylon, that empire across the sand…
But the power of old Persia had that lost war won,
Leaving blood and desolation, both far and near.
I was there when the Ishtar Gate fell into splinters!
I was there when the proud kings knew utter fear.
My axe held high, the steel in the sun ever glitters,
But that light is soon covered in the blood of men,
And you keep being told to take a life yet again…
King...

Devon, England
It was only a planned rehearsal
or so it was meant to be
taking place on the beach
of Slapton Sands, Devon
for the invasion of Normandy.
But coordination and communication
don’t always go as planned,
resulting in not only friendly-fire injuries
but the death of 749 American servicemen
by e-boats of Nazi Germany.

Sniper Files #2 The Ukrainian Leader’s Daughter
Sometimes the weight of warring nations requires soldiers to strip human beings of their spiritual underpinnings. All that makes them mysterious, particular, and beautiful must be peeled away so that killing can be done.
Olena was a Ukrainian leader’s daughter. My task was to satisfy a great debt to our Russian Army for the deaths of my comrades. Olena was born in 2004. Her 19 years have been rich, filled with the love of family and now the love of her future husband.
Part of our surveillance included the gathering of papers related to her school years. I found a letter...

unshockable
Unshakable resilience in the crucible of life has rendered my spirit
‘brave, strong and utterly unshockable.’ Bring it on!”—CAB
i've witnessed fire come down from heav'n,
smelting sand, steel, and stones;
survived the rape of nine-elev’n;
broken a thousand bones.
i've seen seas sweep swift swirling storms
that smother saint and sage,
and refugees torn from their dorms
like cattle in a cage.
i have beheld the prisoner rot
in gaol without a...

Wrong and right .
Her life is a constant dance between what she feels is wrong and right. She’s been a Catholic most of her life distanced and not totally agreeing with the mighty controversy of the guilt of receiving involved in believing. Would God really be this demanding? Would he ask you to enter a conflict that starts in absolutes that leads to conflict then hate that pick fights armed with guns carried by anger and explodes the vulnerable who didn’t speak but where told?
This is the righteous path without a whisper of replies or hope that love is truly the undertone? Dictatorship’s which rip out...

A Metalhead's Absurd Vision
Long long ago before I became a SCATTERBRAIN watching EVIL DEAD movies repeatedly, I was ACCUSED of VIOLENCE on HALLOWS EVE. The DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECIALS (D.R.I.) who always needed an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT lived near the WATCHTOWER. They agreed with my METHOD OF DESTRUCTION (M.O.D.). We were SICK OF IT ALL, POSSESSED in bringing this faction down to their knees. A CORROSION OF CONFORMITY was happening in our towns and on our streets. If any DEFIANCE came their way, you were FORBIDDEN to enter their SACRED REICH. There needed to be LETHAL AGRESSION. A FORCED ENTRY into their METAL CHURCH. We knew...

Black Jack: The Legacy of Pershing
In the relentless flow of time's grand arc,
Rebirth cast me anew,
A soul once woven in history's stark,
Emerges in a world it once knew.
They called me Black Jack, a name from the past,
In this new life, under a different sun,
Yet echoes of old wars thrum in my heart so vast,
Where battles raged and rivers of blood did run.
In dreams, I march through No Man's Land,
Amidst the relentless thunder of the guns,
Where tanks plowed through the muddied land,
Beneath the smoke that blotted out the suns.
I hear the deafening...

Universal
There are parallel universes that orbit around us, not just above & below, and I couldn’t understand the assignment but it’s crystal clear.
I’ve never been consumed by such vastness, day in and day out, until the blur became my eyesight. I believe my soul slipped into another universal parallel to negotiate terms & conditions for us to merge.
Felt the tremors beneath brick & stone, it rendered me speechless. Heard the beckoning call for us to converse collectively, universally. Rise up into the light.
I heard the voices of angels calling me back...

The crown and her puppets
Two sides pulling each other,
I am right, you’re wrong, it’s either us or them,
The third enjoying the thrill of observation,
The diplomats pretending to be neutral.
Truth seems to be blurred,
But every one is right by their own accord,
Tit for tat but the opressor and the oppressed are embodied in one character,
Rationality and logic are intertwined in a web of emotions,
The others think they’re intelligent, the others think we are stupid.
The oppressed and the oppressor has chosen to stay quiet,
We’re feeding them...
