Fritz Lang's Dystopia
They built this shiny cell
For you to live in
Adorned with their icons
Painted with their lies
They don`t trick me
For I am not like you
You`re a robot
Living in Metropolis
They paved this golden path
For you to follow
Your grave is waiting on
Step by step you fall
They don`t trick me
For I am not like you
You`re a robot
Living in Metropolis
"We are the mechanism
Wheels in the gears of society
We are indifferent
Servants of the gods of anxiety"
Wake up they`re selling you...
For you to live in
Adorned with their icons
Painted with their lies
They don`t trick me
For I am not like you
You`re a robot
Living in Metropolis
They paved this golden path
For you to follow
Your grave is waiting on
Step by step you fall
They don`t trick me
For I am not like you
You`re a robot
Living in Metropolis
"We are the mechanism
Wheels in the gears of society
We are indifferent
Servants of the gods of anxiety"
Wake up they`re selling you...

No Sympathy for the Rich
Got a quarter million to spare?
Not many of us can afford
A life of luxury
I’m poor
But I get my air for free
Not many of us can afford
A life of luxury
I’m poor
But I get my air for free

Rusty Fulcrum
No one laughs
watching a homeless lady
agonize to cross the street
at a snail’s pace
except for a lone dude
in the park
He shifts his weight from the bench,
stands on both legs
and decides to use humor
to cover whatever triggered
the uncomfortable knot
curling its fist in his chest.
He makes a joke
about homelessness
and laughs.
Riddles the poor
lazy leeches sucking taxes
from the working class
and laughs.
My compassion uncoils itself
as an aching frond— ...

WE THE PEOPLE ARE FED UP
ARMY OF STRONG OF MEN'S FOR WE ARE in economy MODE in the dark deepness of the hard times to come, with high prices and inflation, but yet I can't really understand, for the life of me. WHY some people's are still on the plantation. 😞 STILL believing that they are looking out for you as the Democrat party.😏 But yet I know some of those would disagree, 😕 with me yet you are entitled to your own opinions. For sure there is a question that can answer your questions, it's call the archives of research on everyone, that has ever been in politics even way back, when many...

Ode to a Torn Page
Barbaric traditions beckon and plead
For the souls of men and women alike.
All with scripture must be neatly agreed
To keep their heads from the tip of a pike.
But patriot pagans are equally nuts
With their hatred of all foreign vagrants.
Cravings of violence churn in their guts
To burst forth brutal populist fragrance.
Just how do they afford those biker tattoos
Or veins pumped full of heroin and meth
All as fodder for the recovery blues
About some musician's premature death?
It's as if lives exist for poor choice
With lucid...

Running projection at that porn theater in Times Square
Remember those years in the tiny walk up
You were writing erotica hoping to get discovered
I was working on my doctorate in sin
Running projection at that porn theater in Times Square
That was dingy NYC
Long before organic
When Holly was working the Lincoln Tunnel entrance
You could get a quick suck for five bucks
Nobody cared if she had too many teeth
or if she was really a she
Life was less complicated back then
Holly bought mouthwash in industrial quantities
Hygiene on the fly still important
A woman...

Purple Reign
If Heaven could only hear me
The world would be a better place to roam as we breathe
Can you hear me now
I heard the bullets flying in the inner cities, state to state, town to town
Do you not see the children wandering in the street
The men in blue with guns drawn as my soul they take turns to beat
A bird can fly, yet has no dreams
I walk in fear with love, compassion, to find peace in greener pastures of serene
One person I stand against the multitude
Yet, within the palm of my hands,...

Sweat and Tears
furrows on fields
lined straight in readiness
curves and cups awaiting rain
to nurture seeds sowed
for grains to harvest
arid land
cracked without blessings
from the clouds
no sympathy from heat
sun is without mercy
they toil the land
picking food off soil
scratching the surface
of empty stomach
waiting on God with hope
sweat on brows
wrinkled and brown
wiped with dirty palms
tears from faded eyes
burning down pigmented cheeks
still they toil
dawn to dusk ...

Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life
stuck
on a
losing streak
cash machine
always
empty
inflation
rising
sky high
wages
dipping
down low
be grateful
for what
you got
this workhouse
feels more
like slavery
profit margins
mean more
than peasants
suck it up
we love
you losers
your choice
food to eat
or heat
it don't
matter
which
we
get it all
in
the
end

Elitist
Fixed with obedience
To feed is to bleed
in the folds of the paper
Are the words of their creed
The greed of the elitist
the needs of the frail
Beneath all of our bridges
is just salt in a pail
they’ll dredge you of honour
They’ll mar you of shine
They’ll keep you compliant
As they feather the line
When you lose all that matters
When you’re nipped of your vow
When you’re stripped of your patience
And you’re gripped in the now
The rule of the system
Overarching and grey

history shows us
put up as many glass offices
as you like
the city will always be old
bloke who shuffles in the dark
looks positively
victorian but hey you build as many glass
offices as you want ..
