Same Tree
Kill each other over our religions
end other lives for what we believe
we've taken men
hung them right up there
for the color of their skin
right up in our tree
that tree we carved our names into
heart with an arrow
shot clean through
hate them for what they believe in
hates us back for the very same
take these guns onto the fields
our blood runs onto its leaves
those leaves that fell so beautifully in autumn
this cool crisp morning won't let us...

Shut Up and Read
Are you aware of the facts?
Racist fucking lies
Government is corrupt
Earth born Genocide
Do you truly give a fuck?
Society's ultimate demise
Warning before we deconstruct
Authorities killing minorities
So much useless crime
Who's serving the time?
Your told to obey these fools
You coward in the shadows
You act more like a pack of mules

Neoliberalism killed my dog
Neoliberalism killed my dog
He ate my bag
Then shat out a frog
Neoliberalism broke my toaster
It burnt my jam
Then flew on a rollercoaster…
To far away lands
Where capitalism dies
Bankers burn alive
Oh how the petit bourgeois cries
Cries for lost days
When wealth was the craze
We all lived like shit
And ran around the maze
The maze of oppression
Free market obsession
Economic depression
A time of human regression
The rich can burn in hell
They can scream
They can...

The Hurting Kind
I wish I didn’t have to hurt you
To escape the way you hurt me
But the world will keep spinning
I wish you all the best

I wish you all the best

If MAGA only searched their soul
as often as they bitched
then they would know some self control
like people peace enriched:)
But it's not easy thinking free
when rage is all you've got,
and white privilege, conveniently,
in charge of every thought.
It's a cage known as THE COMFORT ZONE,
which fears of strange abuse
from changing habits to atone
for morals in disuse.
And so we find them destitute
of hope for future fun
without solving their next dispute...
by triggering their gun.

A Dog's Life
I'm puzzled by the muzzle
they've wrapped around my snout
it must have been because
of those times that I got out
I was only being friendly
while my master wasn't there
but the lady with the baby
started screaming in despair
The farmer with the sheep
went fumbling for his gun
I'd jumped the fence to play
and then I had to run
I couldn't wait to queue
when the butcher's shop
smelled yummy
so I made a quick escape
with a sausage in my tummy
The only thing I've bitten ...

Street Corner Pundit
People overlook what is right under their nose
like when the Emperor didn't have on any clothes
It took a kid to state a simple fact
While others whispered but, failed to act.
They were being blindly obedient to authority
Sadly, in this country that's the majority
"When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose"
and standing up for my people is the way I choose
The one thing I know is true
The system is out to screw me and you
While the powers that be dream of a new evil and how to fund it
I will...

Leadership! The buzzword perpetual
worshipped through the patristic eons
by the pallid preconceptual
and all of their sycophantic peons.
"All hands on deck to swear!"...
say the captains by Beatitudes,
then, by their demeanors you can compare
...antipodean human attitudes.
Actions prove when morality is lost
and ethos quoted more than followed
are values that may as well be tossed
as less mud wherein the hogs are wallowed.
Leadership! That faithful permission slip,
that let's them smugly flop...

The Other America
Blacks here live in places like N'awlins, B-more and Chiraq
where hard working people have to watch their back
Because from both the cops and criminals we are under attack
and the courts will not cut us any slack
Our country is divided by an ethic, religious or political wall
in order to survive my people climb mts. that are Everest tall
We live on a social-ecomonic isthmus
Where crimes on us by both Whites and Blacks we witness
At best, for us the glass that hold life's joy is only half full
but, least we are no longer...

Your Brother In The Struggle
We came here as his chattel
sold on auction blocks like cattle
Our women he raped and disrespected
even today they remain unprotected
They laughed, smoked, ate and drank
while bodies of hung black men rotted and stank
Now shoot us like rabies carrying dogs in the street
or take us to jail after our heads they beat
It is sad to see
that after 300 years we are only semi-free
All these things in my mind I juggle
as I remain your Brother in the struggle
sold on auction blocks like cattle
Our women he raped and disrespected
even today they remain unprotected

Hush Yourself
Mired in perpetual outrage
the mind of convention is conceited
for rage is not the way of the sage
but just a brain, of decency, depleted.
Oh, we are all very dysfunctional
but I hesitate to call it sin
when it is work just to be punctual
about when our labors begin.
And it is easy to lapse into thinking
that ours is the only duress,
or that the apocalypse is brinking
because a dude walked by...wearing a dress.
So, please, do not speak of cultural wars,
It only confirms us as bigotry's whores!
