The Facts
Everday I am an internet sleuth
in search of the truth
Bc all around me are rumors and conspiracy theories
that I track down using Edge, Firefox and Chrome quires
Nowadays even the Supreme court now has leaks
with twist and turns more bizarre than an episode of twin peaks
The Ex-President has told 30,00 lies alone
multiply that with Congress via MSM on the phone
I like my sex and my data raw
and am a stickler for accuracy bc it is monkeypox not paw
I find it hard to relax
bc I am always looking for-The...

i see you as pharoah’s daughter
down by the river of bulrushes
as she comes across
something amazing:
an abandoned baby
a newly birthed poem
floating like a
golden bauble
in the stream
how then can
she turn away
w/o a comment
as though she cannot see
a parting of waters
a burning bush
and a glimpse
of a strange land
so many years ahead
flowing with milk
with honey
to have seen
the babe in helpless
desperation
and to walk on by ...

The Straights
I always feel their eyes on me.
Wanting to know what I am, how I work,
as if they'd like
to take me apart
and analyse the bloody cogs.
But more than this,
they'd like to fix,
to make me something they
can fuck or kill, or just sit by and watch
as I go up in flames. And light a cigarette,
and grin, and say
"I always knew, of course...
can always tell with poofs."

A Turtle named Yertle
There was a turtle named Yertle--a clever fellow.
He lived in a marsh where the wind was mellow.
One warm day, to his own surprise,
he found his mind could see so much further than his eyes.
'Oh such lands that I could own! If only the sight of such I was shown!'
'If only a stone could become like a throne, so much more land on my stand I could own!'
On this warm day, with such an ambition, the little turtle climbed to a higher position.
On the top of a stone, oh what sights he could see!
Taller than all turtles--so...

All Over Again
Isn't the sea a fist with the earth inside?
When capped with white outrage and egged by roars,
waves can corkscrew through breakwaters with ease.
After the frothing, it disappoints though,
the roar vanishes, apologetic,
it cedes the sea to ship horns and seagulls.
We forget what we fought for, to march anew
is new, not remembered, but we will roar
once more, we are capped again with outrage,
there are ships to upend, dictatorships,
islands to reach, children to feed, after
the end of every ebb, like the sea, we heave, ...

Shake the Vows
A needle pricked seamstress, bored
Stitching buttons on ventriloquist dolls,
Sewed wedding rings to tambourines.
And played a song of freedom
For oppressed housewives, and
Children of the walking dead.

What's Popin?*
The story that goes untold
politicians are bought and sold
At least one would sell their soul
for cash-new bills or old
So tell me what's pop-in
these gangs we're not stop-in
kids like flies dead are drop-in
ain't even safe go shop-in
these rappers using Words of Mass Distortion
blowing things out of portion
how much more will it take
before the people will awake
So tell me what's pop-in
these gangs we're not stop-in
kids like flies dead are drop-in
ain't even safe...

A Massacre
Someones murdering nature again
Cutting down habitats
And sources
For insects, butterflies, and bees
Just so they can
Make everything
Look neat, and tidy, and controlled
To make it look nice, and pretty
Whilst destroying
The natural beauty
Muting the birdsong
As feathered friends
Go into mourning
The only sound
Is of man, and machine
Now the beautiful wildflowers
Lay decapitated
Hung, drawn, and quartered
The only nature left
Will be the pretty little flowers
Marching like soldiers
In rows...

Dance of the Maenad
Milk from the soil
coiled like a snake
on the swaying arms
of a lady in the fray
Maenad on display
in the madness
in the rain
In the blood
I can taste
in the race
of my heart
Dancing with the malice
of a bitch with murder in her eyes,
and the wine in her hands-
So she'll dance
so she'll laugh until
the life leaves her eyes
A rebel in the revel
of the drums on the land
barefoot in the sand
and naked in the night
Sing...

Coming of Age
Theres blood on my face
and blood on my hands
there are stains on this place
and burns on this land
and there are cuts in my brain
and a hole in my chest
in the end I remain
with death in a trance
..Push
........Pull
..Push
Memory down the lane
the colors aren't the same
remember when we played
just children in the rain?
Children,
no fear of pain
Children,
perfectly sane
Children,
with our games
Children...
Now you lay
down the hill
we used to...
and blood on my hands
there are stains on this place
and burns on this land
and there are cuts in my brain
and a hole in my chest
in the end I remain
with death in a trance

"No."
Was I just a product of regret?
pulling myself out the deep,
an ocean of things I think
were punishment for that thing...
That Word
Well, what was the Word?
was it a verb, was it in verse
was it a Word worthy
of your contempt?
Or.. was it a Word
intended to enrage
the likes of men?
Yes, I am so blessed
to know the lessons
you preach with
the back of your hand
oh so blessed
to know my only place
is in the shadows
of your ugly mess
because without the Word
we would...

Political spit
As people find ways, to survive on minimum wage,
I'm amazed by the political plague that's ablaze, ,
parties blaming each other for parties they made,
dodging reporters questions in their pinocchio ways,
decades of mother f**ckers passing the blame,
a production line of the criminally insane !!
