Sleep Dream
Send me off on petals made of metal
I lay wake I’m not dreaming
You go to sleep I look after you
I try to sleep but awake is calling me
You go to sleep when I’m not looking
I dream you sleep within me
I wake up screaming while you sleep next to me
I’m dreaming for both of us
You wake while I roll over and tuck under covers
Coffee is brewing while I’m sleeping
Your caffeine keeps me alive
Pulsing in my veins you arouse me
I sleep while you work awake
...

Be patient
Just be patient, the storm is almost over.
Be patient, your time will come.
Be patient, because this pain you feel inside will subside and that cloud will be lifted.
No longer will it follow you around to darken your days
No longer will you feel this empty and hollow, but full.
Full of life. Full of love. Full of joy.
Free of the stress that ties you down
Just be patient, the end is near
No more lonely days and tireless nights
No more restless thoughts from sad dreams
No more fuss
No more fights
No more thinking...
Be patient, your time will come.

Whale Shark’s thoughts
Desolate, open space
A deep cerulean
A state of nothingness
But also closely felt like I’ve transformed
My eyes, only seen by few
My back being the only interesting view
As it mirrors the night sky
Of a starry night
A dotted map
I’ve swam this lap before
Another ship has stopped
My company awaits
With flippers
And cameras
I continue on
Through this desolate place
Feeling everything among the open space
My dotted back
A close map to the night sky
I say goodbye to my guests
And continue on...

About Last Year
Patience, a lot of patience,
That's what it takes to keep going.
At many years of age
we just want health and a lot of patience.
We are not attracted to indolence!
We are not afraid of impotence!
But, oh my God, how much we miss
the patience to have with impertinence
and inexperience and malevolence...
We try not to give up on the film
at the end of the first sequence.
And hear the same poorly told stories
out of sheer indulgence.
We then allowed ourselves to sit in the garden
and count the petals...
That's what it takes to keep going.

My "Ea" Series: Chapter II. The Ainur's Acoustic Adjustment
How could it possibly be conveyed
how gratitude of first breath thrilled;
eyes unlocked the soul's own faith
that itself slowly inspired revealed.
Coming into being for the first time.
Despite the homogenous past
where nothingness was entwined
with the Flame's immortal blast.
A bit of a pain, wasn't it?
To become a spark of a monad.
For birth would also permit
nostalgia of oblivion in God.
The first thought of the I AM,
a diamond descending double spirals,
while past's nothingness was... hm? ...

I’m colored 7.83 that’s an earth tone
For the evils in my mind I’m
Making wards with these cursed stones
Tryin to grind til shine like I can afford my birthstone
just a sign of the times I’ll get mine til my
Hearse comes
And I’ll Smile through the pain I wont say that
It hurts though
I just play in the rain dry my feet where the
Dirt blows
And the concrete greets my light at each burnt sole
While the burnt coal of my heart
heats my whole damn world slow as
the beat of my blood mixing love til it’s purple
It’s all love,...

By My Side
It was in those days of youth
When my emotions had held me loyal and true
And though a mountain range of obstacles lay ahead
I just knew that patience would eventually pay off
I waited and waited for her
But the choices we made carved a different path
And we went our separate and distant ways
Far apart and yet still closer to the heart
And it was after a decade
That upon seeing her face again I knew it was real
That ember never died inside of me
Remembering the emotion with all its intensity
Our time had finally...

Unreasonable
It’s tough to deal with people who are difficult
They try your patience, they try your nerves
And though you may try to put yourself in their shoes
Your intuition should let know they’re being absurd
Unreasonable people are just blind to plain logic
They fail to see the irony, let alone their hypocrisy
And if you try to use reason and rationality with them
They are sure to erupt and be enraged by the audacity
They will use sarcasm and wit to deflect or avert
Trying to belittle you with their superior knowledge
But you’ll feel there...

Stay Calm, Stay Cool
Stress and pressure can often overwhelm anyone
Heck, it can put a lot of strain on the heart
And while there may be chaos and mayhem all around
Staying calm and cool can be quite the art
Life will throw challenges at us and people will test us
But the key to composure is that ability to pause
Taking a deep breath to let the brain process and generate
So that the response will focus on the root of the cause
And perhaps it in this type of pragmatic approach
That our action alone will command regard and respect
Because body language...
Heck, it can put a lot of strain on the heart

now on knees again
Inward realisation
of soul’s decline

to spiritually align
A solution outlined
initiating the quest
failures left behind
gratefully blessed
Familiar, this passage
still, something anew
direction without damage
a fevered path to pursue

I won't depart, even as we drift away,
