3 rules to loving a narcissist
Number 1: They will tell you that people change and that it will get better but it doesn’t, and it never will. Because narcissists do not love you unless it is directly beneficial to their own agenda, they do not love you unless your success can be credited to them. The worst part of growing up with a deadbeat dad is the way people look at you for the rest of your life. the people who grew up in happy homes will never understand how it feels to be stabbed in the back by the man who was supposed to be your first love. They will tear you apart, their words like daggers sinking into your veins,...

His sun
I am apart of the earth.
It seeks my attention.
Every
Time
I
Step
Outside.
It makes me want to cry
because
the only other
living thing that wants me
and loves me
that much is my father.
What did I do to deserve such a person?

Money Over Anything
I need money and I need it now!
rings a melody all night long
Money makes the world go round
and the world keeps sings this same damn song
Up the ladder just a bit
Thats all I need to get chips and dip
I LOVE MY JOB, just doesn't pay enough
I really do but I guess I ain't taxed enough
A little here, a little there
I'm starving here
I second guess those healthy meals
for the cheapy deals but is it worth still?
Barely making teacher wages
I thought I made it
until gentrification
Upgraded, cheaply made it ...

Formalities (greeting)
Is it absolutely necessary to greet someone in person and in writing?
What, if any, are the practical benefits of a traditional greeting?
And who should be the first one to say a greeting to someone?
Etiquettes spring from the fallacious opinions and philosophies of a society.
It is a misguided belief that people benefit from receiving a greeting.
Why do most people take offence when others do not greet them?
People are affected somehow by the things that they were taught.
Some teachings are not worthwhile because they are based on feelings.

generations
Dear other generations,
I grew up in a world of technology, that you created
And yet you blame my generation for using it
I grew up in the work world you created
With unachievable goals and low pay
I learn in the education system you revolutionized
Pulling at my hair, stressed beyond reason
You all raised us, wether your an older sibling, parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, friend
Yet, you call us lazy as if we are to blame
You gave us the distractions of technology, you encouraged us
And now we are reprimanded and handed all these expectations...

Macabre
Danse Macabre
One soft summer evening, the wind rolls on the breeze, through the trees to a lonely homestead.
Tenderfoot Ranch, was a quaint homestead with a large field, small granary, and a small house, large enough for five bedrooms. Though everything seemed well on the outside, the fields were withering under Arthur Macabre’s ignorant green-thumb. Arthur had spent his life adventuring not tending fields and they were becoming dry and producing less crop each harvest.
Arthur played a handful of dirt in his hands, breaking up the hard chunks then threw the dirt on...

The Gorgeous Dream
If you must know anything,
know that you were born
because no one else was coming'
- Ocean Vuong
¡
Flutterwings:
you know you always escape a day
we never made -- but how
I would find you in every crushing second
I wanted to die
there, looking up at your dire ascent from
these clouds billowing above where I lie;
Stay.
¡
I never caught you still but blurry;
lines faded against the backdrop sky, ...
know that you were born
because no one else was coming'

Mum Sample!
On mummy day we just jubiliate..
On mummy day we don't barricade..
On mummy day we don't infiltrate..
On mummy day we post no bille..
On mummy day we don't replay..
I stand by the north 12 o'clock..
Behind my back south
6 o'clock..
From the right east
3 o'clock..
By the left west
9 o'clock..
With this tears how we pay..
Volunteer for replay..
Inside the mind we foreplay..
Outside the mind afterplay..
It's free world...

Not racist
High risk.
You act like a hazardous virus.
A case of nuclear waste, not enough of a human to earn your space in this world till the end of days.
No-one cheers for an unfinished race...
You’re lucky i’m not racist...
You’re lucky you can’t raise fists, or raise above your race and take control of this circus.
You think we like this?
Never ending crowd control because you think you’re somewhat powerful?
We hate this.
How can we be racist if you fail to act like a race first?
This chase...

I still remember, do you mum?
I was 7 when my grandmother, now crippled by dementia, gave me the humming bird along with the promise that it would set me free. Since that day everything has changed, and until this very moment I had all but forgotten about my little hummingbird. Though I can see it clearly now.
It was small, just about large enough to fit into your palm, though to me it had seemed much larger as was the case with my view of most things at that age. It was made of gold that shone in the light and trapped your eyes when they danced upon it.
Each wing held a jewel with a rose pink colouring...

Parents
The complexity, the complications of a relationship, as old as you are.
Their characteristics become intrinsic,
Genomes that mutate and grow,
But god only knows what might skip or show,
The path that you'll go with their guidance to lead the way.
Faith.
Complete trust in their decisions.
No other point in life that you're in this position.
Loyalty, bound by naivety, as it should be,
For only my mum and dad could ever love me more than me.
And fuck.
Weren't those times sweet.
Memories, flecks that appear hazy but happy.
