Open the door to a new world and set yourself free
Open the door to a new world, set your mind at ease
A closed door will never allow you to reach your fullest potential
When you least expect it, someone considers you influential
Don't close your mind to people who may inspire

the homecoming
turning up the furnace
we're going full bore now
I enjoy war
this is where I excel
but this lady would like to take her armor off
imagine now a soul fully undressed
climbing into the celestial pools with you
cooling waters it's been a long day
a millennia has come and gone
I see you on the horizon
coming home from work
from the ninth sector of the nix universe
I'm emotional at the homecoming
watching our warriors
one by one come in
yes, it's a sight no one thought they'd ever see ...

It's a sad day

Secret Motivation
Just know that I thrived to make you smile
And that I also I strived to make your laugh
Because I cried too with you in your grief
Even if my tears didn’t bring you any relief
But it was my belief that in sharing these emotions
I would kind of move you in some type of way
Even if I was a faceless stranger in the distance
We’d bond like little innocent children at play
Perhaps it was the silly rhymes I’d add in lines
To make you awe in wonder, ponder and think

Hooked
I walked out onto the pier
in one hand was a fishing rod
In the other hand, was the gear
Today was the day I was going to show
I'm coming back with a fish
I will not buy it from the store
They all laughed at me
They cannot believe it is true
I'll show them they'll see
I placed the gear down
I took the blood worm out
casting into the blue was easy I found
Two hours in
The line began to jiggle a bit
This is where the fight begins
I yanked the rod up in a start ...

MOUTH TECHNIQUES
I
had been interested
since I was a teenager
because of the stories and
things I had read about the
pleasure and joy that could
be experienced by the mouth.
ONE'S
mouth is unique to the individual's taste
and how they want to use it is a
personal choice.
IT
may be used to blow, suck, hum
and tongue each hole in the
Mouth Organ better known
as a harmonica and those who
blow it as a harmonicist.
THEY
come in various sizes and shapes;
each producing sounds enjoyed by

The Albatross
I used to think
those hanging an albatross
around their neck
were serious about penance—
those standing their ground
saying, I refuse to retreat
but will go down with this ship
because that's how much I believe;
or, deeply loved—
because any other behavior
would mean I did not
Yet, sooner or later
some kind rebound lover
bearing gifts and poetry
appears in shining armor;
or, perhaps another...

Angels

I cannot compare thee to anything.
One look stops the very air that I breathe.
As angels kiss lips as soft as dew, sing,
For all that I yearn will make me believe.
And I carry on musing just the same,
Through life's tribulations, dancing a tune.
Loving each other, there can be no shame,
Proceeding in time to the sound of June.
Now when I think back to those pastures ripe -
Carefree and joyous for all we were worth,
Even on days we would carry a gripe -
Still you're my sunshine, my heaven on...

Surely there's disorder within each mind
that graces the troublesome human race.
Why, necessarily, would it be kind
when chaos sparks thought all over the place?
The deviltry is in the details
which civilization will not master
when all it cares about are net sales
in the profit margin hereafter.
But chaos and creativity link
in the marbled columns of poetry
where order angels help the devils think
in divine terms of versatility....
prepared to host a devil's every thought
in the glory house of the...
