"Don't forget to smile!"
A sales manager tells
his staff, "Don't forget
to smile."
A photographer tells
a client, "Don't forget
to smile."
A complaint clerk is told
by department manager,
"Don't forget to smile."
A Psychologist tells a
depressed persons as they
leave his office, "Don't forget
to smile...it's power therapy."
A sign in a dentist's office
reminds patients as they leave,
"Don't forget to smile."
An unknown...

A Wake Up Call For You
Here's something all of you don't know
I've suffered for all your sins
I may jump through this computer
This is where the fun begins
I may hit you hard
Just turn the other cheek
Are you the righteous one?
I bet most of you are weak
Your optimistic dreams leave you in the dust
The god you pray to is beginning to rust
Your body has expired, dig yourself a grave
Points of light, quickly fade
Just a reminder, you won't be saved
You think your free, but your chained like a slave
Happy Holidays!

Say Genius
Say genius
Not a person
But it passes through
When we’re inspired
Strive to be a polymath
Means to give birth
To what’s inside
Genius isn’t a person
But an idea can’t keep to myself
Have to share what I felt
In that moment when a lightbulb goes off
You figured it out but it’s fleeting
Genius goes from one to another
Catch that lightning
Before it’s gone
Soul so expansive
Struck by feelings
Some say there is genius in deity
Not a person

INSIDE THE EYES I see nothing
INSIDE ROARE
INSIDE THE EYES
I see nothing
You leave with a black shadow,
You merge with a white fog.
Whoever has not seen, does not see.
In your darkness.
A little girl draws a small circle on her hand.
A little heart warms your palms.
How you perceive snow, like hot coffee.
You blame me in eyes that know nothing,
the sunset, the surf of the sea.
You bring a little mouse into my hands.
Who knew what life looks like, who felt it.
He whispered into my palms, please, what life looks like.

why is it that we who have no connection
with those who have the power of what
gets heard and published.
Today, we drove from Cascais to Lisbon
a drive that usually took half an hour
it took an hour more because of modern time
had upset the calculation
a modern society is measured by how many
cars are on the road at the same time
we who sit at home are in the news reminded
of this by those who call this progress
after this profound observation, the rest is
pointless history is eaten by false history
...
why is it that we who have no connection

THE LITTLE ROSES ARE RED MEMORY
IT
is amazing how
a memory can out
of the blue pop up from
the memory computer
in your mind.
THIS
morning out of the blue
an old verse I wrote years
ago in high school popped
up. I sent it to a girl I had
a crush on (she had no idea)
IT READS:
"Roses are red,
violets are blue;
I bet you can't guess
Who in class likes you?"
GUESS
what would I write today?
Meet me at the KISSING PLACE
and I will write:

and violets are blue;

I like poetry, and i like its secrets
Creations and twists, that impress
And the manifest of the thoughts
Bared like the sun, easily expressed
I read the finest quills, the nobler
The thinker, and the mystical worder
And the true lover, who sheds his blood
With every word spilled, romanticized
I read the wordsmith and the weaker
And the mediocre and the "show-offs"
Like i eat every thing, in my plate
Like i don't spare; flesh and bone
Poetry, the music sieved into words
Lyrically voiced...

Am I the thinker, fated to dwell at hell's dark gate?
The words, like storms, crash in my skull—
relentless, pleading to be written, a curse or gift, I ask God?
I can whisper beauty so soft it curls into your soul,
and in that moment, we are the only ones who exist.
You blink, bewildered, and say, "How do you do this?
I've confessed to you things I’ve never dared to speak, not even to my therapist."
It starts with a simple question—"If you could pick a memory to relive what would it be and why?"

Echoes of Dignity
Be with compassion,
Don’t collude with the unconscious,
To manipulate innocent souls,
To use their bodies for gold.
Your body is precious,
Your house till you no longer breathe,
Beware how you treat it,
Think what’s best for it.
Humans have made you objects,
Objects of gratification,
To spread your bosom and legs,
To deprive your freedom.
Young woman wake up,
From that deep sleep,
Know your power,
You are the pillar of society.
Without you, we would never exist,
We live to serve you, ...

like a fool in the rain
The local sounds, the roar of saxophones.
Your body is straining and your mouth is wide open. aaaaa
Who hasn't eaten, doesn't eat.
Who waited, doesn't know.
Who hasn't watched, doesn't eat, who's left alone, doesn't know.
You walk through the raindrops,
only I still don't believe.
You walk through the wall, I don't know yet,
whether love will defeat your strength.

I'm running like a madman in the rain, ...
like a fool in the rain
