Mother's Hushed Eyes
Passages of my childhood arise within my mother’s death gaze,
bringing reminiscences of olden days.
When in sadness in childhood we would speak in silent gaze.
No mother left to envision me now, now within those quiet eyes.
Mother, you have gone away;
oh, dear mother let the memories rest beneath your eyelids.
But never close your eyes!
The imageries still dance in them as if you’re still alive!
While vibrancy in your quiet eyes remains, I'll save
this voiceless reflection I saw from a...
bringing reminiscences of olden days.
When in sadness in childhood we would speak in silent gaze.
No mother left to envision me now, now within those quiet eyes.
Mother, you have gone away;

Lucky I Had You at All
Mother,
I wish I had the time to apologize
for all the lies
all the times
i was a stupid kid
a stupid teen
a stupid mean immature
creature
and not a man yet
and sometimes I forgive myself
but usually I berate myself
for not growing up on pace
to face
the world before it gave
me no choice
and you no voice
to speak for months
in a bed in a hospital
that slowly
tragically
took your stomach
then your limbs
then your life.
I wish I had the time to apologize
for all the lies
all the times
i was a stupid kid
a stupid teen
a stupid mean immature
creature
and not a man yet
and sometimes I forgive myself
but usually I berate myself
for not growing up on pace
to face
the world before it gave
me no choice
and you no voice
to speak for months
in a bed in a hospital
that slowly
tragically
took your stomach
then your limbs
then your life.

My Purpose.
To live, is my gift.
To be, is my privilege.
To serve, is my task.
To learn, is my job.
To love, is my pleasure.
To father, is my pride.
To teach, is my honner.
To be grandfather, is my reward.
To age, is my grace.
To remember, is my joy.
To die, is my vertue.
To rot, is my final duty.
To be, is my privilege.
To serve, is my task.
To learn, is my job.
To love, is my pleasure.
To father, is my pride.

Who Should I Be ?
Undefined
Friend
Father figure
Uncle
Lover
Cold sore
Desperado
Reporter from the edge
Milk Man
Remember them ?
I didn't think so
Who should I be
Tell me
I'll try
