A Demon's Recital

" To be clothed in flesh must be near heavenly bliss!      
To touch, taste, to receive, and deliver a kiss,      
A gluttonous drink along with a seldom seen feast!      
To engage in sexual bonding to satisfy the beast!,      
(The demon fantasized with a new felt feeling      
As a desire for embodiment became unyielding),      
Never have I touched the ground that lies beneath      
Nor smelled a lilly or caught a plummeting leaf."      
Then the possessed laughed maniacally from deep within    
At how it had just waxed poetic, in the night's howling wind.
