With outstretched arms, nature calls to me  
With the sunrise and birdsong  
The wildflowers in the garden  
dazzle my vision  
the trees hold up the sky  
I knew it was going to be a beautiful day  
sacred harmony, everything working in order after their kind  
 
My day started as all days, feeding the cats  
Chickens and roosters mine eat together  
It's a funny alliance  
My dog, still asleep in bed will need to be walked soon  
But for now, it is a quiet morning of observation  
 
The earth is humming, and whether you realize it or not  
You are a part of her melodious activity  
She stirs you awake as the sun comes up  
and invites you to participate  
 
She may be the breeze across your face  
The adorable animal you can't look away from  
The wild yet determined weed pushing up through the cement cracks  
 
She sings to you quietly in the background  
Sending you positive energy  
connecting you on the aether with your brothers and sisters  
 
Be careful how you skew the balance  
She will correct you if you are disturbing it  
With the transfer of bad energy  
Don't get me wrong, negative energy and positive energy need each other  
 
It is a sacred song to be played out today  
Today is like no other, be in the moment  
and open to the experience
