Thanksgiving At DeadLove Manor

      Hello, my brothers and sisters who occupy this creative writing atmosphere. Where the poets/poetesses are known for their hospitality here at DU. Cast your mind with me, folks. I’m gonna try something a little different, you’re all invited to Thanksgiving Dinner here at DeadLove Manor.  
 
      A turkey with all the trimmings and every side dish your mind could imagine. A dessert table filled with pies of many fillings and flavors. Wait a minute! That’s traditional and all, but we’re writers damn it. We march to our own drum, we’re anything but predictable.
 
      I say we order Chinese food, that way we just throw away the containers after we’re done. Who doesn’t love Chinese Cuisine, well our Americanized version of it anyway. So message me your order, otherwise you may go hungry. Why waste time doing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen, we got creative things to do.  
 
      I forgot not all of us live in the United States. There has to be a way around that for sure, a bunch of smart people like us will surely figure something out.  
 
      By the way, LDF (LadyDragonFly) will not be able to make it to the feast. She has been sending us all poetic postcards though, sharing her adventures with us while on her creative journey.  
 
      What about vegans or vegetarians? Yes, I know they are two different things, people. I know Duende is vegan or was it vegetarian, I might wanna lay off the pot, it effects my memory. She also has great taste in cars and music. She’s really cool, for sure.
 
      It might be a good idea to keep, Keith (Vision_of_insanity), and ASD (AfterSexDilemma) separated. They're always throwing verbal barbs at one another. Don’t believe me look at their comments on each others writes. Actually if you read them, they’re quite entertaining. They act like their brother and sister already.  
 
      Hopefully, Tams (Ahavati) and H. (Honoria) aren’t too busy to attend. They always have such wise words to share. And are so supportive of new and raw talent. They’re pillars in our community. We all know they are, I’m not the only one that thinks that. We all look for their approval. Yes, I said the quiet part out loud. lol.
 
      Styxian and Adelphina are definitely invited. Although, I think all of us would not be offended if they didn’t show. They need to spend some time together, while Sabbath is playing, “Children Of The Sea,” in the background. I know we all feel that way, they're DU’s favorite couple. At least they got my vote. Those two are cool cats.
 
      Pete_25, and I have to get into a Beatles discussion. I might learn something for sure, I got a feeling he might be a fanatic who knows all the details about them. Oh, he’s across the pond though. Well the invite stands, he’s a super chill dude.  
 
      Fia (fianaturie8) might be busy out doing something positive for all us writers out there. She’s something special, I wrote a poem about her. She’s invited for sure, but I understand if she can’t make it.
 
      I would put, Keith in charge of cinema. Surely he wouldn’t think of viewing horror movies while dining. Although, Lilli (Lilliputian), adagio, Debbie (deliabear), even PAR (PAULO ACACIO RAMOS), is into the darker imagery vibe. So it probably wouldn’t bother them, but the rest of us will decline that notion.
 
      Willow (WillowsWhimsies) is invited as well. She’s cool as can be, with a great sense of humor and a fiery side. That’s a great thing by the way. I like that she speaks her mind on all matters in life.  
 
      Let’s see who else, Luna (LunasChild8), Tim (Dragonblood), Connotation, Sam (Samnash), Jimmy (goodwolf1966), SHAMAN (Stoney223), Naajir, dimpy, InDreamz, Wally (wallyroo92), Oral (TheOralizer), and Bonanza1 are all invited as well. They’re all cool cats, I’m still getting to know some of them though.
 
      Unless all of you are busy? You got till next year to mull it over anyhow. Surely you wasn’t thinking I meant this Thanksgiving? That’s tomorrow, folks. No way were getting a shindig that big off the ground. I’m not that delusional after all.  
 
      In all seriousness my poetic friends, I appreciate all of you. You’re support and the writes you share have impacted my life, more than you all will ever know. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
