Yeah, thats a good idea.
Had my first Mr. Softee ice cream a few days ago at our local park.  Same dude in his truck year after year.  A community feel at the park.  Not  Central Park mind you, another park on the East River that mostly only locals use.  It's an oasis in big bad nyc.

I love Mr. Softee ice cream!! NYC feels the heat more so then Long Island or the surrounding tri state area. Same goes for the cold.  

Yes, I often wonder why people live here.
But I know the answer ....

That could be a very long answer.
Bottom line is you know when you live here  if city life is for you.  Because it challenges you in every way imaginable.  It comes down to who you are more than what it is ...

I’ll take the watermelon on exposed flesh in the July heat. If you want to add some of that ice cream I’m all over that too. I’ll worry about cleaning up later.

I don’t have room for the rest. I no longer entertain what doesn’t serve me. Life is too short. So, I may even consider all that in NYC one day (never been).

I try to stay true to me.
You have to.  When you go outside of yourself other things can happen.  I'll leave it at that.  NYC is a jumble of so many things.
Mostly cramped quarters and ideas ....
