Summer Poems
#summer
Summer poems about the warmest season of the year, June to August in the northern hemisphere and December to February in the southern hemisphere. Summer brings the longest days, where things heat up with summer fun, and nature is in full bloom.
a new day
the morning yawns
in anticipation
of sun-drenched days,
with desire
blushing across
scattered horizons,
as scantily clad
flowers smile.

run along home (summer)
summer,
your beautiful
days,
all the colors,
sights,
your warming heart
have shared,
has all
been welcomed,
the calendar
is passing you by,
bracing yourself
you have lingered
waiting it out
with a truly
amazing will,
but,
you have earned
your rest,
don't worry,
you will not
be leaving us
alone,
fall is following
your footsteps,
introducing
new songs,
new sights,
new colors
and of course
cooler...

Ship of Dreams
watching ocean, watching sky
watching a full ship sail by
many eyeballs, many minds
together in the summertime
on the beach where English Bay
is beyond the trees that sway
in Stanley Park as slipping by
a ship of dreams for every eye
sails away across the sea
somewhere new, wherever the
trackless ocean in between
takes each mind within its dream...
summer breezes, summer thoughts
escaping from the endless noughts
separating, out-of-phase
regenerated by Sun's rays
bouncing off the sea and...

My summer
I've already made memories
Of magic
Of friends
Of rollercoaster screams
I've already made mistakes
In clubs
While dancing
With my alcohol intake
I've already been through it
I've cried
missed you
Gone through some shit
Had a lot of sunburn
Seems like a bummer
But it's just the start
Of my hot girl summer
Of magic
Of friends
Of rollercoaster screams
I've already made mistakes
In clubs
While dancing
With my alcohol intake
I've already been through it
I've cried
missed you
Gone through some shit
Had a lot of sunburn
Seems like a bummer
But it's just the start
Of my hot girl summer

When I Saw This Blonde Chick
When I saw this one
blonde chick in a black
swimsuit taking a sip
of water out of her
canteen, I noticed
that even though she
happens to be older
than I am, she's still
a fox to this guy.

Summer’s dance (Titles)
Lost in a moment
Between sunflowers’
Shadow of former glory;
The silent twilight
Winds of autumn
Follow me.

Little Party On The Fourth Of July
We were all having
fun on the beach before we
saw the fireworks going off.

As Josh Arrives At The Beach
As soon as
Josh arrives at the beach,
he saw this hot chick in a yellow
bikini step out of the water and drop to
her knees in order to catch her breath,
walked up and said "hi" to
the tanned blonde.

Silent Running
So low runs the Strawberry Moon
That I wonder how much she spies
The snakes in the fields of June
Or flowers bearing butterflies
In the sweep of a twilight breeze
Brushing away the throbbing day,
Conveyed to the antipodes
Whereupon a tropical ray
Will heap it's heat atop the frond
That will not wave in northern air,
Too temperate to correspond
With vapors from just anywhere,
Yet, fit to breathe strawberry odes
Up towards Luna's tranquil nodes!
That I wonder how much she spies
The snakes in the fields of June
Or flowers bearing butterflies
In the sweep of a twilight breeze
Brushing away the throbbing day,
Conveyed to the antipodes
Whereupon a tropical ray
Will heap it's heat atop the frond
That will not wave in northern air,
Too temperate to correspond

Earthshine
She filled the glass with crescent gold
And you can bet that I was impressed
By a sight, although eons old,
I had telescopically compressed...
Which gave pulsation to the air
And motion to her massy pocks
Slowly raising in Aurora's glare
Her oceans of volcanic rocks,
And as our Earth glow faded
With the beginning of the day,
I heard the night time quiet traded
For brand new sounds of avian play,
Which is the heaven songbirds make
When crescent moons help day to break!
And you can bet that I was impressed
By a sight, although eons old,
I had telescopically compressed...
Which gave pulsation to the air
And motion to her massy pocks
Slowly raising in Aurora's glare

The Full Sturgeon!
Oh golden orb of gracious light
Sweep away daylight's roasting sky
And tease the currents of the night
With the cool way your moonbeams fly,
Never thrown like the bolts of Zeus
Or with Apollo's brazen heat
Which threaten both cypress and spruce
Whereby lunar lovers meet
And by your beam will love much more
In the sportive midnight fashion
Which pumps the blood found at the core
Of a lover's fit of passion
And sure to keep that love awake
To boast of it for repletion's sake!
