The Beauty (Sleep) & the Beast
Crawling space, the beast lurks near
grit to wit in creep of dream
poor as dust on gold to wist
carving eyes that shout & beam
groaning highs of spine & trace
dazing sweet for kiss of bite
dark in cloak of night & lace
star & map the chosen site
drawing down to sheathe with ease
saw the light with guts & knife
gone to ground this crush & breeze
moonlit song of blood & life
tangled forces foam with red
open gash wills quick & blue
blackened steel through dawning head
green the spear & place it true
faceless howl, the choice draws near
grit to wit in chase of gleam
silvered rich in death & wist:
stab the beast to sleep & dream
