Oh no! I'm sooo sorry. Leaves often have a habit of changing direction at the last second, just as you're about to catch them. Loving the metaphors here but appreciate & recognise the sadness & melancholy in your write also. 🙁

I am having a major dejavu right now. I could swear I read and commented on this poem a week ago, but I guess not. I had the distinct recollection of posting an old poem I had written about 40 years ago.
At the risk of repeating myself, the seasons spin with the Earth and all endings bring new life as we live through the cycles that pass. The song "All Things Must Pass" by George Harrison is about that. Here is the poem I wrote that I hope has a little bit of inspiration within it.
