Fall poems, poetry about autumn or fall, the season marking the transition from summer to winter. Nature poems about fall, when the leaves fall from the trees.
No compositions by Vivaldi
I was born in the twilight of centuries,
when the sun, tired from its journey,
sinks into the golden horizon
and the moon emerges shy and silvery.
O nature, wise and ancient,
you owe me the sighs of the trees,
and the murmur of the dancing brook.
The scents of wild flowers.
You owe me the whisper of the wind
that caresses the leaves and hair.
And the embrace of the ground, firm and welcoming,
that supports my uncertain steps.

echoing valleys and mountains

a place by which i walked
i see it through blind eyes
precious shadows,
it took a moment to realize
this shortness of time,
discussed and approved
unsuspecting,
those dark fall lights,
the wind, sang to me,
uttered word for word,
a place by which i walked.

From an Angel’s Wing
Leaves, flowers, and evergreens
mingling together with the brightest pop of red
as the autumn sun streaks across an open sky
bathing nature’s paths in splashes of golden orange
while there hidden in the forest shadows
a tiny feather pure white as an ocean wave.

Delicious Corpse
I was bold enough
to give my contempt to the occasion.
There's a call grabbing attention
I hate any love
which means servitude,
that is in a programming grid,
announcing dates and times
as criminal sentences.
I undo the ties
and the bright smiles of commitment,
and the equipment that fits
like a clown costume;
I look like a clown,
and I resent the song
but I love dancing
which leads straight to the bed,
where laughter is always welcome.

seasons of the earth
a galactic journey
"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and
heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease."—Genesis 8:22
were there not twelve mensajes in my book
when, on that silent january morn,
the mountains bade me take a solemn look
at how the seasons of the earth were born?
the chilly winds a path made for the spring,
their passions melting in the radiant sun,
as pregnant birds and flowers on the wing
rejoiced to know the banquet had begun.

Camouflage of autumn
As summer wilts
what was painted shade
hues of green do fade
the equinox bring
autunms cold kakai
spells the end, of summers party
canopy, shimmering in,
mellow splays, uplight by
winds violins, undressesed
the autunms crinoline
tirades, fall, its music blessed
confettied leaves, the trees divest
the feelings born, we mistrust
we camouflage beneath our crust

Blizzards
because you are the opposite
from my other side
turned inside out
autumn's cold khaki
that clicks below
of the heels
elbows hurt
and hands slip
on door handles
abrasive mouth
kissing the back of my neck
because you are autumn
of my other skin
burned by a blizzard
autumn without shades of blue.

Pastoral Delight
pastoral delight
Poesy is the moo of the cow
And the bleat of the sheep
The caw of the crow
And the hiss of the creep
Poesy is the hush in the forest
And the thunder of the tempest
Fear in the trees that whoosh
Crickets lying low in the bush
And when the weather is heat
In the pastures you hear the bleat
When the sky is azure blue and neat
The walk invites you to stretch your feet
Come along hear nature's real poesy
cement walls reflect only morbid heresy...

the past re visited
the past revisited
He was going back to his home in a tiny village from
where people congregated living close together and professed to hate it, the absence of war had cost the country dearly, and unemployment was high, like the enforced idleness had made people apathetic
there were no cars on the road, petrol was too expensive
for people, as was electricity to recharge batteries
how the situation was in other countries, no one knew as the fabled internet was forbidden
it had it was said
a bad influence on the young who believed the rubbish ...

Seasonal Change
born from winter
spring emerges
evolves into summer
summer diving into fall
autumn falling
into winter
perhaps seasons
don’t change
we do
