Carousel

Round and round the carousel goes.
Round and round our true form shows.
Stuck on this loop for all I care.

Spinning round and round on a wooden mare.
Like a nightmare with carnival music.
And cotton candy scent.

And the way your fake smile is bent.
We go play the carnival games.
As we bake fresh, hot muffins.

Muffins of our fate.
A loop I cannot escape.
I bought a ticket.

And now I cannot go back.
I can't even get my money back.
I'm stuck here,riding.

Playing your carnival games.
And it's all fun and games.
Untill somebody falls inlove.

Untill somebody gives you their heart.
Spinning round and round on this wooden mare.
You split my heart in two and told me to share.

My candy frosting dripping from my heart.
Underneath the cracks.
But no matter how hard I try,I cannot escape.

I can't get out of this carnival landscape.
I'm stuck here, listening to carnival fair music.
And watching the circus show.

Eating cotton candy untill my stamina is low.
Chasing after the feeling is like a fairytale.
A drug I cannot escape.

That I can't myself but try and use.
As my emotions and sanity fuse.
Will I ever catch up to love?

I can never tell.
Like a fallen angel, from the sky you fell.
This carousel is like a hell.

On a level,deep but silent.
As lacking emotions fuse.
But you suffer the pain and you lose the carnival game.

Now,come take my hand.
And let's go to the carnival fair.
And let's go on the rollercoasters.

Isn't that what you wanted me to be?
Sometimes,I wish ,from this carousel I was free.
As I suffer in silence.

Almost like a freak show.
Round and round the carousel goes.
It's like you disappeared.

But the carnival didn't shut down.
I think about this feeling as I frown.
