There’s that dog and those birds again.
Love the shaman bird. Saw them in a previous painting.
Your words so true for most, but I love winter. Snuggling up with a partner after spending the day in the cold, priceless.
Love the painting and the poem.
Stay warm :)

To me, your painting is four grids. And I disagree with the description of the bottom left quadrant. It's a medieval horse, wearing its banners.
Top left quadrant: A very beautiful waterfall, flowing behind the autumn leaves, into a harried lake.
I will stop now. Lol.
Yes, I can make a day of going to a museum. I don't get bored.
And no sir! Do not hole up waiting for spring! Get out and get snowballed. It makes heat that much more valuable.

Bah, Jack Daniels is for the youngins. Jim Beam is for us gentlemen. Refined a bit more.
And, Jameson, to keep my broken accent oiled.
There's plenty of other, more expensive ones. But why put too much money into something I'm going to just piss out later. I haven't mastered sipping yet. Lol.

Hey PS,
Love the art!!!
Looks like shiny metallic paint.
And yes - I will be holed up during the winter.
I'm a warm weather girl. Winter - well - I have to put on too many clothes. LOL
For me - the less the better. hahaha
Great piece!!

Beautiful. To me, the art includes reflections, and a very patched up, multi-colored wall, so that feels pretty relevant to my messy but reflective life these days. The words just add further to the feeling of the relentless passage of time....
Amazing work, love it. Great colours.

Trying to get in the autumn mode but with some twists this year …
Messy is good, when it’s neat and all piled up I forget what’s underneath. I thrive in organized chaos. Great abstracts are never neatly arranged
Thx k

You never cease to bring it home. there is so much of the four seasons in the artwork, and the poetry just brings it all home.
I've truly missed your art, both on canvas and paper.

I always wondered how you spell bubkes
I have a Yiddish dictionary, but you might be an easier reference
Ya game ?
So nice to have one of the fold here !
Shalom Pink
Thanks on the art
I'll teach you how to drink whiskey one day
Deal ?

Hoi hoi
Happy to come across you/your work finally.
My family is living in Amsterdam since 1250 and Joosje (from Joshua) is mentioned in a city puzzle poem in 1645.
That’s also the period when Wynand Fockink was founded. A jenever company that still exists. It has even grown since 1954 and produces the very best Oude jenever. My vice.
We have a lot in common, it seems. The shutting up to let the other person room to think included.
I’m going to pay extra attention to your poems and I can only wish that Karel Appel was around for this method X44C to make your already wonderful artwork shiny and extra special. I’m absolutely convinced he would have loved it.
Wonderful that I met your work here! Great that you posted it!
Kind regards, Gus

BIG LIKE. There's something so intriguing about one liners, like flashes of light, words saying the first thing that comes to mind.
