The urge

The urge to return to the pages
to purge what's within
surges on..
I feel drawn back if I'm gone too long
away from creating something
which I feel strongly about..
that's when I drown in doubt
and the demons come out
to surround and shout..

The focus and the fire fades away
at times extinguished by the
 engulfing emotions
and fear in thy mind..

The realization returns again and again
that it's for me to find my own
"roads to freedom"
while still roaming this realm.
