she laid down her wings
{&} i crawl'd from the black mass ov odin's eyelessness,
slipt thru the morass ov conformity, dark wing'd {spineless}
an oil'slick iridescence_ harshly beautiful, carv'd from roots
torn up at the axis ov space {&} then set to flame
embla to his ask:-
would that he could have shap'd the world from my songbird skull
{my iris for his dark lashes
my throat for his fingers}
slept in the tangl'd knots ov my veins, let me twist myself
around his world(s) submerg'd in my holy water tears
Ęsir to my vanir:-
life, death, chaos* this maelstrom ov my dichotomy too vast
for the narrowness ov his high road, his {self}righteous war
a clash ov thesis & antithesis ... an anger-soak'd tongue
the razor'd edge with which he peels my lungs from beneath my ribs
