Yep, I'm thinking it maybe also explains why, after 100 years of 'research', no cure for cancer has been found - "cancer research" is a big industry - to end it means dealing with an inherent conflict of interest.

Yes, very much agree. If current regimes are maintained throughout the world, most assuredly the war machine will break us all in the decisive war of who will head a new world order.  Heads of states do not seem to care,  lacking in compassion, the fewer the people more money in the bank of war.  

Hello Elsiesan, thank you for commenting. "Follow the money" explains a lot of the craziness happening on this planet - but I'm guessing the consequences of the gradual destruction of Nature will shift priorities towards sanity. I'm kind of holding my breath though. Growing as much as possible of one's own food seems the most sane response to me. Just dug up a pile of potatoes today.  :))
