It hasn't been that bad
It's not a full out quit
Decided on 4 to 5 days a week sober
I was always ahead of my alcohol purchasing
2 drinks left
Buy another bottle
Not doing that this time
Gonna drink what I have
Money is tighter
Gonna drink the Widow Jane now
Was hoarding her sexy ass
I deserve her smoothness
Juxtaposed against my rough persona
She's my muse now
Bourbon bombshell
She always knows how to play me
Turning the tables
Debit card on empty
No fault detox
Sleeping like a old dog should

you have to watch out for those bourbon bombshells. they can do lots of damage.
sometimes, i've realized, you need sober moments to actually feel what's happening. might not be fun, but it's always worth it.

It's mostly an experiment in seeing if I could sleep better sans alcohol. Truth is , I am doing much better in the Zzzzz department.
