Rain

To an ant, a drop of rain seems like a flood.
To me, a drop of rain is something that will wash all away.
The tears, the sadness, depression and blood.
Its cleansing abilities will leave you to be at peace and pray.
After painful losses and wounded hearts cease to beat,
Rain will come and wash away your defeat.
No use holding on because nothing stays the same
Time passes by so fast, let it be washed away by the rain.
If only the rain would come sooner...
