Time Capsule
my deaf ears hearing cryptic whispers
when night falls to silence false intentions
thunder echos another familiar storm
my confused mind replays sensual moments
rewinding the same luv scene over and over
nothing else to think about except for what was
my devastated heart is chained to some fantasy lie
it felt was rare amazing luv for eternity not an end
refusing expectance it’s devotion wasn’t enough
my crystal green eyes close for a repeated dream
behind eyelids they visualize purple blinking stars
silhouette’s dancing under dimmed moonlight
my intoxicated soul clutches a bottle of insanity
Angel’s send down compassionate rain kisses
praying I’ve not completely given up to face tomorrow
my dying spirit gives not a fight breathing
ready to pass out from drunkenness
escaping from the time capsule buried within me

I found this to be a truly inspired write - it might have come from a pain-point but it has been redeemed in the sense of gifting the world with some wondrous words and phrasing.
