The Spring Ravine
This is a wonderful way
to heal my soul
by listening to the speech of running water
through the traditional Chinese instrument-Guzheng
I can see the water racing, dancing, and crashing
inside the spring ravine

Is it crucial where you live?
Certainly yes I believe
When I was young
I moved to a northern city where my dad worked
Through the window of the rented house
I could see my school playground
And when I stood at the playground
I could see my mom sewing umbrellas
It was convenient to solve my homesick
As a newcomer at a new school
Everything was intimidating
When hearing my south accent
My teacher and classmates burst out laughing
The Taiwanese Chinese was the funny point
However, I was confused...
Certainly yes I believe
When I was young

If I Could
Is it possible
for me
to pass the final exam
It seems a life trial
to steel willpower
to overcome frustration
to strengthen language proficiency
Finally, it's time to come to an end
No matter what the result will be
I appreciate the path
I have been trekking on
in the past nine years
I am proud I make it through to the end

Spring Clean
Rub and rub over and over
the stains on the aluminum window sill
haven't been cleaned for a year.
The black marks stuck so firmly
and seems no way to remove them
from the silver surface.
Once I thought they were gone
they came out again when they dried
they seemed stronger than I could imagine
Should I give it up and leave them there
pretending there are no bothers to my life
then I could still...

Happy New Year
Within the winter chills
the stuffy air went still
while struggling to breathe
the cold clogged my nose
If you ask
How did the new year holiday go
I would say
it was as nonsensical as a rascal
I never tried to grab its frayed fringe
Just let it elapse
as easy as it should be

Silence (A Repost)
At a secluded yellow forest
a tenor in the redwood concert
Silence sings the highest notes
make needle-like leaves of the giant move
the scarcely loud voice
you wouldn’t hear on earth
Its vast entity's as vivacious as tai chi
vibrates the midsummer’s trance
during slight dalliance
I found out the very crucial triviality
seems as diminutive as empty ...

So quiet in my daydreams
It kept coming up the scenes
