For Ethan
A single, thin
Cloud
Draws
A lambent
Brow,
Across the
Moon
Empty bottles
Chitter
Before a barback's
Broom,
Echoing, somewhere,
Beyond
View
70's rock
Spills its
Bawdy
Throat,
Onto the
Avenues
Spirit,
In subtle,
Profound,
Frenetic
Vibration
I feel,
All around
And
Everything
Your open
Hand,
Reaching
Across
Cloud
Draws
A lambent
Brow,
Across the
Moon
Empty bottles
Chitter
Before a barback's
Broom,
Echoing, somewhere,
Beyond
View
70's rock
Spills its
Bawdy
Throat,
Onto the
Avenues
Spirit,
In subtle,
Profound,
Frenetic
Vibration
I feel,
All around
And
Everything
Your open
Hand,
Reaching
Across

Re. For Ethan
when the naked soul hums ..the atmospheric ambience thickens its essential musical brew,in & out..the vice versa cyclicality goes on ...to that & those deeply ever tearing n touching in the spirited sublime soul...heavenly incensing in sync..juzme daniel ..from your minimalist gem ...you should try more of such short explorative masterstrokes the essence is all you despite the lengths though...vanakkam🙏om namasivah

Daniel, I feel the rattle and hum, the nostalgic reckonings that evoke thoughts of past loves, past bosom friendships. Bravo, Daniel. The piece also evokes memories of so many 70's Rock songs nested permanently in my cerebral attic.

Rock the Cazbah was spilling out of the bar when I walked by. I was talking with Ethan and thinking about old times, when I might have been in the thick of it,with my best friend. He's gone, but the band plays on. Old friends, new friends. It is both solemn and beautiful. I'm moved so much of that came across. I really appreciate it. 🙏🏻💖

I totally enjoyed how everything that is so far away is always so near.. your words capture that feeling and understanding with pure submissiveness...
The moon’s lambent brow...
The echoes....
The 70s...
The spirit...
The feeling of all and everything....
And lastly,
the open hand...reaching for something closely, far away...
Thanks for sharing...

Hello, I enjoyed the rhythm of this piece, but also how the entire scene built up around me. The atmosphere you created so simply is a true skill
