Once lost

Once lost

Lost love once
No fault of mine
Died on the inside

For many years was lost
No one to hold and creases
No one to shear my happiness and sadness

Then one day out of the blue
Saw this Angel
Struck up conversation

Slowly fell in love once again
Days were bright once more
Smiles return to my face

To hear her voice
Was like heaven in my ears and heart
I was on top of the world once again

One day it all went to hell
Knew in my heart it could not last
Now lost once more still in love with that Angel
