Seems to stop at all
A tide of unwanted emotions
Inside…
The battle for peace
Rages on
Feels…
So good
To be alone
To feel…
the solitude
Let my brain cool down

The swell of the emotional tide
Finally calming to silence

Being alone
often is a 2 edged sword.
We demand the solitude but sometimes need at least one to comfort.
Remember my post on FB to day? Yeah am still playing music (loudly) as the white noise that woke me up this morning, persists.

As an empath I can totally relate to this, AP. People drain me if I'm around them too much. Solitude is my recharging station.

I am not autistic , but as a huge introvert, I can understand ....if only a tiny bit..how you feel. It has to be fucking maddening!

Diagnosed later in life.
I feel this so much. Thank you.
