A New Me
Cerridwyn alights the sky with her stars,
These feelings, arising deep within my core like a quasar,
I was a flameless, little serpent,
Silent, and content.
But you've turned my world on it's head,
These are feelings, of previously, I had only read,
Love is the third eye, that sees the truth while the others are blind,
I am now a flame filled dragon, leaving my former self behind.
A dragon breathing my fire, deep inside of me, deep within my core,
I feel it in my heart, forevermore,
I'll stop loving you, like the raven says..."nevermore",
These feelings, I'll never ignore.
As Pele heats rock, and erupts volcanos,
My heart burns for you, forever, like the ouroboros.
As Poli'ahu caresses Mauna Kea with her cloak of snow,
Thoughts of you, caress my psyche, and make my anxiety go.
As Hinakuluiau's rains fall, and nourish Gaeo's soil,
So too, are my impurities slowly washed away, and my soul nourished from the daily toil,
From the cleansing thoughts of you I beam,
You are my daydream.
You have encouraged me,
To be the best that I can be,
I hope one day, maybe I,
Will be someone whom you would be proud to call at least your friend and ally.
These feelings, arising deep within my core like a quasar,
I was a flameless, little serpent,
Silent, and content.
But you've turned my world on it's head,
