I loved you with all my heart
With every beat I cherished you
Our love was like a piece of art,
Unique, creative just for two.
Each passing day was a dream
Living happily in a land far away,
But I should’ve known that like a dream,
You would slowly fade away….

As the colour left your face,
When your eyes seemed oddly bright,
I looked at you with the same loving care,
While my heart began to slowly die
As your body became too weak to move,

Spewed out across the awakening sky,
