Flickering Flames
Flickering, flaring alter candles
Staring me in the face
Questioning my love
What is my burning desire?
They seem to whisper out to me
Beconning my senses
Through their delicate smokey lips
That disappear my direction
How can I answer their question
When I can't predict where love leads
Which direction
It goes
The good or evil side
It shows up on
In my fate
A man dressed in snow white
Plays holy church music
So self-assured
On a oversized organ,
his wedding ring glowing

Demon following me for the fall
When things don't go right
Your tinkering with my fears
Naming them all
Throwing the ball at me
Your angry you want to create strife
Reach out to me on the streets
Call me names
Make wicked remarks
Make a game of it
Say your in pain
It's all my fault
Chase me around
Cause I can't
Talk back
Call me
Old
Ugly
Stupid
Useless
You wear and tear
These words
Out of my head
Follow in evil spirit
Ways
You follow evil spirits

Reflections of golden lover lost
I could never clean enough
To clean up all my crystal tears
That get erased
With time, that flew me to
And away from you
Up in vast skies
No matter how much I
Smear tears, there secret rainbows
Onto broken mirrors reflecting
Me away from you
Streaking a light divided
Only you could
Give me a saving chance
Pierce my soul
Embrace me with a golden sunlight
That leaves a space in heaven
For me to sing, so lovely, to have loved you
To clean up all my crystal tears

With time, that flew me to

Strangers in life
Life's full of scary things
Strangers that push and pull you away
So fast
Trying to serve them their plates constantly
So it's all bearable
Strangers everywhere you look to
And you wonder how you could ever
Relate to them all
Give them a space
In your heart of joy
Make them some kind of room
Hopefully they'll even take?
Or just pass by you
With a laugh
Or awkward expression
On their face

Staring at my porcelain cats
Staring at all my porcelain cats
Their glazy eyes wonder
They can see my tears
Dripping in, around my eyes, blinking
A pool of emotions
so real in the moment
I won't swim into right now
They can see my tears
Dropping, dropping
Like the rain outside
That washes away water
But doesn't fade
My knotted up emotion inside

Wading through each

Nature's motto seems to be in with the new out with the old
