A Twist Of A Vampire’s Fate XII

DON’T GIVE UP ON US BABY
Who Would You Run Too

DRACON’S CASTLE
Sighisoara, Romania
The Next Morning

Naynina threw the top covers back and twisted her legs around. Her feet hit the eggshell colored carpet. She looked over at the glaring sunshine streaming through the dark-blue velvet curtains. She stood to her feet. Her body felt weightless. Her ears was overcrowded with speaking voices she heard in the distance background. One of her special abilities she quite never related to anyone.

Naynina stretched her arms over her head. She was ready to face a new day and explore a new digging sight. She walked into the bathroom to prepare for the day.

Dracon opened the patio double-doors and stepped back. He removed his Daylight Amulet ring and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and stepped out onto the balcony. He waited for his body to instantly combust on contact. Dracon opened one eye and looked up at the blue sky. The warmness of the sunrays coated his skin. He opened the other eye and held his hands out in front of him. He looked down at his skin. Not a single burn penetrated his skin. He thought back to last night. Had it not been for Naynina’s blood; he would had to experience the nightly hallucinations, profusely sweating, and his equilibrium would be off from the various bites of a wolf. His vampire-wolf hybrid blood mingling with hers spared him the spiraling effect of such.

“I love you Naynina in and out of time,” Dracon mumbled to himself.

Dracon turned and walked back inside his bedroom. He pushed the double-doors close and ventured back inside his bedroom. He placed his ring down on the dresser.

There was a knock at the door.

“Come in.”
Mordecai opened the door. He balanced the silver severing tray in one hand and entered Dracon’s bedroom.

“Mordecai I would like to eat breakfast on the balcony.”
“Certainly sir.”

Mordecai placed the serving tray on an antique table near the door. He looked over at Dracon’s ring that rested on his dresser.

“Master, do not forget your ring.”
“It’s not needed.”
“But sir.”

Dracon lifted the serving tray from off the table.
Mordecai turned his face and opened the double-doors.
Dracon walked out onto the balcony. He placed the tray down on a white wrought-iron table.

“Mordecai, would you advise Naynina, I request her company to join me for breakfast.”
“Yes sir.”

Mordecai turned and headed for the door. He walked out Dracon’s bedroom and pulled the door close.

VASILE’S RESIDENCE
Sighisoara, Romania

Valan, Vacome, and Vasile held their stomach.
A little passing of queasiness was the culprit for biting into the flesh of a vampire.

“I will be glad when this shit passes through my system.” Vacome stated. He pressed in his stomach.
“Blame this shit on your brother.”
“Not to worry, Dracon would have suffered as much as us three,” Valan confirmed. “Vasile, I suggest you pick your fucking battles a little more carefully. You could have gotten your brother and me killed. And do not think this incidence would not befall the ears of the Authority.”
“That’s not Dracon style. The fuck is probably planning some revengeful shit for us.”
“You need to concentrate on finding a way to get Naynina. Now that I think about how I felt after tasting her blood, and without it. The woman’s existence is what’s needed, and her blood will be our bargaining chip to gain prestige, as well as respect to this clan.”
“When have we not gotten respect from the surrounding clans?”
“With a beautiful Fairy, and Fairy’s blood within the family. Several clans know that price will sit anyone of us at the head of anyone’s table, and we will be feared from afar.”
“I refuse to allow you two fucks to use Naynina as a bargaining tool. I happen to feel this woman, and not for the properties of what her blood is worth, or could do for us if we had it.”
“Then dammit take care of your shit. You could have Naynina in your bed to the full moon. But in the meantime, this family needs her blood. Thinking about her, is making me want to feed, and now that I’ve tasted her blood. I do not want any veins. I need hers. Strange to say, but I forgot my Daylight Amulet ring and walked outside this morning.”
“Say what.”
“Wait the shit gets even strange. Not a burn from the beaming sun touched my skin.”
“Man quite lying.”
”Honest. Vasile I need more of that beautiful woman’s blood, before Dracon suckles the fuck out of her.”
“Slow your thoughts big brother. If anyone is going to sink anything into Naynina, it damn sure will be me. Now, I suppose, you and Valan, could make do without me. I have work to do, and then I will be making an appearance to go see Naynina.”
“Didn’t you just hear your big brother?”
“Am I worried about Dracon? Not in the least. Do you think his punk ass will risk telling Naynina she is half Fairy and half human, especially if he’s most likely benefiting from her blood? Blood, I will have alone, and mine alone. Later you two.”

Vasile walked away from Vacome and Valan.

“Keep an eye on that boy. I have a feeling this feud between our two clans, will ignite, if he bumps head with Dracon once again over a woman, who is on the verge of turning, or already have been turned.”
“News flash big bro. You could not turn a Fairy into a vampire. She is immortal within her on right, and once she comes to that understanding of her true gifts, which we have yet to see.”
“Or taste,” Vacome finished.
“Does she really taste that good, Vacome.”
“Enough to get me seriously thinking.”

Vacome walked away from Valan.
Valan looked at his brother’s back.

“You do know she’s Vasile’s piece of pussy don’t you,” Valan yelled at his brother’s back.
Vacome had already rounded the corner.

DRACON’S CASTLE
Sighisoara, Romania

There was a knock at the door.

Dracon lifted a rose and laid it near the empty plate. He walked off the balcony into his bedroom; he walked over to the door. He cleared his throat and then opened the door.
Mordecai stood in attendance.
Dracon looked over Mordecai’s shoulder.

“I requested the presence of Naynina.”
“Sir, I have been given word, Miss. Polanski is with Professor Peeples.”
“With Professor Peeples!”
“It appears they went out together to get some supplies.”
“Fuck! That would be all Mordecai.”

Mordecai bowed and turned. He walked down the lengthened torch lit corridor.
Dracon slammed the door close. He flashed over to the bathroom and entered.

The door slammed.

MESTERSHOP
Sighisoara, Romania

“Professor Peeples. I checked over the supplies list. We are in need of more shovels.”
“I believe I saw several hanging up in the back.”
“While you go and look, I will load these supplies into the van.”
Naynina lifted the two bags from off the counter. She balanced both in her arms.
“I will be out in a minute.”
“Okay.”

Professor Peeples wanted to lean down and kiss Naynina’s glossed lips .The dream he has been having about her and him is now giving him nightmares. He wanted her since the first day he laid eyes on her three years ago, and time has not lessened his hidden feelings for her.

“Professor Peeples.”
“I’m sorry, you caught me in deep thought.”
“I hope they were well worth it.”
Professor Peeples looked down at Naynina’s nipples resting against her white tube top. The sheer white blouse layered over it did not obscure the view.
“Yes, they were definitely worth it.”
“I will be outside.”
“I will be there.”

Both walked in the direction of their assignment.

Naynina walked over to the door and fumbled to open it just as someone was entering.

The bags fell from out her arms, meeting the floor. Several items fell out.

Naynina scooped down on her knees.

“I’m sorry.”

Vacome squatted down.
Naynina crawled on her knees to retrieve the roll of duct tape.
Vacome tilted his head and got a pleasant view of a firm derrière clad in a pair of white shorts. He looked at the back the woman’s bronze skin tone complexion. Her jet-black hair appeared as spun for silk.
Naynina lifted the duct tape from under a trolley stand. She rose from off the tile floor. She brushed down her shorts. She advanced to where the man who was partaking in her view.

“I can assume you’ve seen enough.”

Vacome palmed his five o’clock shadow down.
“Do I get a chance to see more?”

Naynina arched her eyebrows behind his answer.

“It would be greatly appreciated if you could continue to assist me.”
Vacome erected his stature. He peered closer at the woman.
Wait a fucking minute. She was the same woman Vasile brought home, the same woman he would die for just to taste her blood once again.

Naynina turned around.

Vacome instantly twirled his finger.

The fallen items lifted and gathered. He uprooted the two bags and utilizing the skills of his mind; he mentally stuffed everything back inside.

Naynina turned around. She looked down and then looked up. The man had the two bags now in his arms.

“I would have helped you.”
“No worries. Where is your vehicle parked, pretty?”
Naynina blushed. She cleared her throat.
“It’s parked down the street.”
Vacome stepped back.
“Lead the way.”

Naynina placed the duct tape on top of the heap of items in one of the bags. She opened the door for Vacome.

“Thank you.”
I wondering are you holding beef down there handsome she thought.
“Would you like to find out?”
“Pardon me.”
“The answer to your question. I asked you where are were parked.”
“Oh that question.”
“Why? Did you have another answer in mind to another question?”
No ring yes, single, good looking; he was very tall and sinewy, his skin tone was a warm russet. The man was blessed with a pair of killer lips. I would love to have that body laying between my thighs every night Naynina thought.

“You have a very overactive immigration, hopefully, I could provide the answer to your request.”
“I suppose you could read minds.”
“Actually I can.”
“Then what am I thinking.”
“Oh you want to play that game pretty.”
“Try me. Oh here is my transportation.”

Naynina slid the van door back.
“You may place the bags on the back seat.
Vacome complied.
Naynina slid the door close.

“Thank you.”

A kiss would make this day memorable for me, taste me too if you want Naynina thought.

“Are you ready for me to read your mind pretty?”
“I am.”
“Give me what you got.”
“Okay.”
“Wait, if I read your mind, promise to have dinner with me tonight.”
“And if you can’t.”
“Have dinner with me tonight.”
“Those are not fair options.”
That’s because I do not plan on losing.”

Arrogant, handsome, cologne smells good. I would love for those lips to touch mine.

Vacome linked his arms around Naynina’s hips. He pulled her within his embrace. He descended his lips, covering hers completely.
Naynina’s chained her arms around Vacome’s neck. She scooted closer.
Vacome slowly untwisted one of Naynina’s arms from around his neck. He slowly lowered it. He inched his groin back. He laid her palm over the zipper of his jeans.
Oh yes it’s so hard, hopefully he knew how to use it when parting her she thought.
Naynina squeezed the hard bulge.

“Mmm.”

Naynina lifted her hand and joined her other arm around Vacome’s neck.
Vacome softly bit into Naynina’s tongue.

“Umm,” Naynina whimpered against Vacome’s lips.

Vacome suckled the blood flooding Naynina’s mouth. He palmed the back of her head, and pulled her face into his; he intensified the kiss to her lips. His tongue dueled around her bloody tongue.

Damn his body felt on fire? Weakening for her touch, hungry for the taste of her. At that moment he wanted her on so many levels. Levels he knew were forbidden to his sense of duty as the head of the Tremere Clan.

Vacome swallowed the remnants of the blood floating inside Naynina’s mouth. He kissed her lips. His breath smelled of her essence. He rested his forehead against hers.

“You taste so good to me,” he whispered. He kissed her forehead.

He felt he tasted these lips so long ago, but how, and why?
What just happened? She felt this man’s heartfelt so loudly, attuned with his body, his mind, his scent.

Vacome did not want to step back.

“I will pick you up this evening.”
Vacome inhaled the scent of Naynina’s feminine aura.
Lovely he thought.

“I do not know who you are, but I advise you to step away from my student at once.”

Vacome palmed the sides of Naynina’s face and tilted it. He tenderly kissed her on the lips and then stepped back.

“I will see you this evening, Naynina.”

Naynina’s arms dropped.
Vacome slowly backed up. He turned around and walked down the street.

“Who was that?”

Naynina touched her lips in remembrance of them being consumed by a handsome stranger. She looked up and down the street.
The man was nowhere to be seen. He called her out by her name, which she did not remember she voiced to him.

“Miss. Polanski, I asked you a question. Who was that man?”
“Someone I’m for sure I fell in love with centuries ago,” naturally rolled of Naynina’s tongue.
“The truth would have sufficed. Are you ready?”

Naynina turned to look at Professor Peeples.
“Yes, I’m sorry, lapse in judgment.”
She slid the van door back and got inside.

Professor Peeples slid the door close. He walked around to the driver side, opened the door, and then fitted his presence behind the steering wheel. He pulled the door close.

“You look very nice today, if I forgot to tell you.”

Naynina snapped her seatbelt in place.
“Thank you.”

Professor Peeples plugged the key inside the ignition, and started the van. He pulled away from the curve.
