Digesting the NaPo-2019 Experience
There is a monument in the sky called ‘the moon’
with strange opening and closing times, and rituals.
Lift your arms and dance when at its brightest;
retreat to your cocoons when closed - and meditate.
This orbit-driven rhythm offers thrilling experiences
where an immanent God of body-wisdom supports healing:
new and exciting creatures emerge from ocean depths;
saplings rise in their innocent beauty with a beguiling future;
shape-shifting worlds open up through alluring languages;
proverbial chess-moves kiss a singing harp;
journals of the heart are pirouetted on a glorious stage;
everyday life is invoked and chanted to the heavens …
I must say, I for one am amazed at such gifting
where trust makes love easy, and love makes trust complete.
We’re home - where flowers flower forever.
with strange opening and closing times, and rituals.
Lift your arms and dance when at its brightest;
retreat to your cocoons when closed - and meditate.

Wonderful post-offering, Josh. I read the essence of each participant melded all together as the moon's reflection. Wonderful metaphor in that we are all reborn again through inspiration and the words thereof.

Thank you A for the RL and for reflecting back to me in words too the overall NaPo experience I was trying to absorb, and put down in my own words, before the feeling-mind of NaPo faded away too much.

Bravissimo, Josh! You describe in such a compelling fashion the beauty of this site and its inhabitants. The passages that touched me most:
"journals of the heart are pirouetted on a glorious stage..."
This one is quotable,
"where trust makes love easy, and love makes trust complete.
We’re home - where flowers flower forever.”

Beautiful spirit imbued in your lovely lyrical dance. There is a complete organic experience within, relayed with adroit brevity. I've been over it carefully several times, enjoying the various archetypes you touch upon with creative perspective. Your writes show maturation of awareness I find winsome.

Beautiful as always Josh. Some of my poems were inspired by the moon when I can't find anything to write about.

It's great to see the momentum of writing is still within you.
I look forward to writing again after my body has caught up with rest.

Thank you Johnny. NaPo certainly winds one up - and I'm glad to have been wound up again. Take it easy - rest is equally important.
