Smoldering Seduction In The Garden

 
a Goddess stirs awakened to her imprisonment  
she went into hiding and fell asleep in this dimension  
under the cover of darkness, she reveals her position  
manifested here in human form  
 
destruction is her name  
jealousy her nature  
the God of the place has disgraced her  
a lothario she bumped into once  
her ebony face visited  
then within a blinks time, he vanished  
a one night stand, a cosmic hit, and run  
he just disappeared  
 
after eons untold of loneliness  
she found her way here in the midst of lovely gardens  
there she spied a woman  
her God's head was turned  
infatuated with a mortal  
 
burning with need and hate  
she devised a plan  
she would see the fall of man  
and God's plan to replace her would be for naught  
 
so she sent in a serpent  
who wholly beguiled the woman  
made her lust for the man  
and in her eyes, God was replaced  
rejected her God finally knew her own pain  
 
they square off in this realm of understanding  
he seeks to keep the Goddess for his own  
she has become highly accomplished in the art of seduction  
and has many men she grooms for potential mates  
she vows her greatest magic trick will be a disappearing act  
when at the ends of time she vanishes absconding with her peoples  
 
she stirs in me now  
her voice echoing within my sacred halls
