Dr. X
The redoubtable Dr. X
An elder in gleaming white
Enthused about samples
New miracle drugs from Big Pharm
This test subject made aware
Possible benefits, countless side effects
Hot flashes, depression, dizziness
Blurred vision, tinnitus, suicidal impulses
All a matter of possible risks
And there's further advice
Caveats to the patient
Warnings to the wise:
Report shortage of breath
Take note of sudden death.

Tinnitus can fuck off already, omg. I feel you on this one, Crow. Ive had some illnesses myself and meds can either be a god send, or the death of you. <3

Agreed. I have permanent tinnitus as an ongoing side effect of Buspar. So far the other meds have little or no effect. Pharmaceutical reps drop off samples and patients are guinea pigs, and I'm one of them. I should have sued for malpractice years ago.

I now have "white coat syndrome," a fear of docs and their offices. I think I have good reason not to trust them. Thanks Crim!

Not one of the listed side effects, but I'm pleased. Hope you got a breath of fresh air. Thanks Reggie!

New meds are to be avoided, if possible. They are barely past the experiential stage, with FDA approval. I'll pass, and wait for something tried-and-true, avoid the unforeseen side effect blues. Thanks Flower!

Interesting, so relatable. I had an experience early last year, where this private practitioner sold me pills amounting to 400$...for blood pressure...fool me took his very wordy advice and found out later the pills were for advanced patients. Luckily I switched doctors and guess what the pills they gave me was mild, and cost 13$ per piece of ten. Good read, Crowfly.

I've had to forego medications because of the cost. Sounds like you eventually got a bargain. Thanks Grace!
