Cooing sweet nothings
And distorted truths
From twisted smiles
And sharp tongues.
Talons piercing hearts
And ripping morals
Drawing crimson diamonds
And offering eternal torment.

Thanks for sharing! "Miss Ghost" comes to mind. Henley didn't do a video for it and I haven't seen him talk about the inspiration but I think it was covering similar ground.

It is indeed a great piece. So short, but tells so much. Very dark - I like it a lot.
