Pink Sky in Morning

Awakening in your embracing arms just before the morning sunrise
Streaking lines crack the petals ascending above your unfolding prize
Exposing pink highlights deep within your auburn flower
Naked on a blanket after witnessing Geminid's starry shower
All is revealed as the dawn's warming fire begins to glow
Now you see how my howling desire reaches out to firmly grow

As the fiery orb climbed the sky masquerading as a blooming rose
All the fears melted away from two barren hearts that long ago froze
A new day has dawned as together we venture into the garden Eden never was
Plucking each other's forbidden fruit with a soft covering of ticklish peach fuzz
And tasting the sweet juices dripping from our fondling warm fingers
Imparting each other with a feeling that after the evening pink still lingers

Parting your red sea leads me to an exodus from a long and lonely past
Opening a gateway to a future when endless fond memories aspire to last
As the walls of yesterday crash behind our footsteps to wash our secrets astray
The sun rises higher burning the silhouettes of our naked shadows away
As blue skies hover over our sins like blue eyes voyeuristically enthralled
Until shades of pink that shimmered across the heavens at last are recalled
