I find this genre uncomfortable and I am not sure whether it is right to feel this way. Maybe I can't reconcile sex and violence because of my history but I have tried and even tried to write about it and my own scribblings were also uncomfortable.

I know this is not for everyone... I've seen discussions under similar poetry that were pretty intense and in the forum I even saw a suggestion to add a new category for BDSM related poetry, because some people find it offensive. I'm used to words like that, so I was prepared for a comment like yours. I was also aware of the fact that I might lose some followers, but so be it... we are alllowed to have our preferences (as long as it is consensual) and I think it's the diversity that makes us human beings unique!
