This year has been a weird one
Fell far beyond my tree
No longer know which words to use

Of it all

Souls reacting
Can we be

Than ourselves?
If I’m here, and you’re out there
Without a woe
Or a care
Then do you dare
To ask
What you are?
I’m a man
And the myth
Lost in space
Lost adrift
Adrift the seas

I am both
Man AND immortal
Lest we chortle.
I speak the truth
With these words
