In rain of heavens’ dust
(a psalm in passing)
In rain of heavens’ dust and gods’ intent
With echoes' call from spaces beyond time
In lines of music, words, and loves' consent
Are creatures born to creatures' waiting arms
With songs that sing in flesh and senses' rhyme
As fragile as a snowflake’s fall as wood fire warms
We gain our place and path that leads at best
To others’ arms and heights of different climb
With loves’ assent and cresting brings our rest
In true release to heavens’ reign return
And back to gods’ ideas and songs sublime
To cosmos sending, join and with suns burn
