I Am Not Sure

I'm SURE of this, you should be yourself, F**K society's ideal of who n what you should be, as for goin or stayin... Sounds like someone may be in "legal" trouble, stay ONLY if u truly feel he's worth it. Otherwise ur just wastin away ur life waitin for nothin. Oh n caution, IF he has done somethin criminal ( a felony? Very bad) be prepared for the real possibility he WONT be given very many chances for a good job! that's just a fact.

Some friendly criticism, which I hope is not unwelcome: I would suggest the following exercise. Go over your poem again with an idea to discovering what makes it different than prose. If you were to send an email to a friend, voicing these concerns, how would you say it? What I am driving at here is that a poem should be quite different than prose. It should say something that can't be said in prose.

When you wear a mask, it can become too comfortable and a way of life, that soon runs away with you. For too long I have been wearing that mask. I am learning to go out without it and it is a terrifying feeling, like being naked in public! But as you begin to see beyond that face, you see others who wear the same mask, and realise that you are not alone. can be a profound experience. As for what is right or wrong, that is for you to decide, but don't let society dictate that for you. Not being American, I'm not sure what the American dream is, but freedom and to live a life worth living is always a good plan.

Thanks guys for commenting and giving me feedback it is always wanted.. lol I agree the more you wear a mask the more you start to loose sight of who you are and what you stand for.
