Love is corrupted  
It's image is of...  
Blindfolded,wing-ed  
idiot children  
Proclaimed masters  
of willful archery shots  
Fluttering about baffled  
by orders given by fate
Flingin' ammo purposelessly
Close but just off the mark
 
The first attempt was  
a cherubic blunder
They missed you and  
hit your friend in error
A farce to push you away
of course...and there you went
Admittedly...to your betterment
 
A second attempt  
found a similarity,a coincidence
Orders were misread,I guess
The form sent them to  
the wrong address
Repeats of the name  
and one number out of place  
on the paperwork,a birthdate  
resulted in a mess
 
Airstrike three found you dangled  
right in front of me
Only to fade away temporarily
A passing ship,that never set  
off the radar in the land of evergreen
 
I feel lately,they've been sent  
to make amends
Chuck arrows at our asses,  
corner us in.  
Into a place of fearless recognition
Hearts meant to pair from anywhere
I see a road map,open to everywhere
But the symbols on the compass  
look like this:

All roads lead to  
limitless possibilities
