Entrusted Heart

I have entrusted you

your own place in my heart

where despair was once dark and hidden

you upon entering slowly in

have made it shine for the first time

tears fall down my cheeks

knowing my words aren't shunned

my luv is felt not cursed upon

am truly graced by a soul in my life

one who takes me for who I am

even with all my flaws you cuddle me

you've taken this damaged heart

luved it for all its worth

my own eyes were made blind to reflect

only saw brokenness not worthy of much

you picked me up out of depressing sludge of life

had heaven create a star just for me

feel calmness from a glowing moon

trusting in its soft light to guide my path

leading me straight to your luving heart
