"When Our Cords/desires, become Whips of Punishment."

*In the Bible, cords are also symbolic
of the desires within mans mortal body.

Why do we willingly live
lives that complicate and
take into our bodies, habits
and addictions that wound
and... ISOLATE

We begin them maybe socially
or as an illusory way of escaping
a horrible reality...

But then, we partake of them more
and more frequently, until we obey
them mechanically, robotically; and
then, it becomes our... NORMALITY

Alcohol and drugs, until our heads
are splitting and the heart that Gods
given, blows up within us

This downward spiral from what
could have been a Glorious life into
the abyss of darkness and despair,
so far away from His Healing Light...

Into the outer darkness, where dwells
all that's dead and the fallen...

But still, Gods Long-suffering, Merciful
and unto us, Calling...

"Because His Gifts and Calling are unto
us, even without Repentance,"

Different partners every night of the week
and love-affairs so that we're never alone,
but inside we still feel empty and bare so
that our souls weep

But, it's because when we make that physical
connection, a bond is formed; and, when we
don't keep the vow performed in the Presence
of the angel, our spirits are torn and we feel
this violently as our souls mourn

So when/if, we wake up from the haze, will we
have done irreparable damages and sealed
our souls fate

Ephesians 5:14-16,

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest,
and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light.

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as
fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
