slide on up next to me
we got all the time
to savor this wine


the view from this perspective
magnificent
but my eyes always
shine with wonder

for you see
it is that little twinkle
at the corner
between
blinks of oblivion
that fragment the past
when stars remember

which train to get on
when last it was
we said our goodbyes

or was it hello

time is funny like that
introspective
reflections
on who

reached the conclusion first

beside the point
so let me
prevent this derailment
