Said The Sun To The Moon

The sun longed
for the cool embrace
of the bejeweled moon

though he would
shy away from her
scorching embrace

she loved his
rough edges and swagger
lusting for him throughout the day

eagerly awaiting the moment
when they would be as one in the sky
her heart raced at just the thought of him

her curvaceous sizzling figure
dressed in her best golden gown
she wished to impress him

desiring him with all her heart
finally he with his sexy voice
so sensual spoke to her

lovely one you sparkle and shine
I've been wanting you for an eternity now
though i'm afraid of getting burned

I've been hurt though
I carry a tough guy persona
with all my swagger

there's a tender heart underneath
kiss me sweet lady I've been gazing
at you for forever

watching you warm the Earth
tenderly seeing to the crops
feeding the humans with your giving rays

lay with me awhile as the tides roll in
let's make love while one in the sky
the moon and sun fell for each other hard

one cold the other scorching
worlds collided that day
as a new star was born
