Naked Truth
The naked truth is that-
The sun rises in the east,
And that I love you.
The naked truth is that-
We all have to suffer,
But I can face with you.
The naked truth is that-
I am poor,
And I will be rich in having you.
The naked truth is that-
Galaxies collide,
But I will reside in you.
The naked truth is that-
I love my mom,
And she will accept you.
The naked truth is that-
The sun sets in the west,
But I can’t reach you.
Naked truth is a romantic tragedy. The poem talks about the call of the lover for true love and the repentance that true and parallel love will never meet.

The composition was simple but I think very frank. The simplicity striked me and I thought as to why not posting it. I just penned the same last week within a few minutes. I am glad that it touched you and I think in this way that I am succesful. Thanks a ton for adding the same in your list.
Fine Poem!

The last line is a knockout blow, and a perfect end to this admirably controlled, structured and charming love verse. My favourite stanza though is the fourth. You make my heart flutter, Anando. :)

With your addition of the same in your reading list, Naked Truth is my first poem in this site which has been added more than once in a reading list. For me this one is a great feeling of accomplishment and you are the one who made it possible for me. Thank you will be such a tiny thing in this context. In fact I wanna hug you. " A Lovers National Anthem" sounds poetic in itself and now I am looking forward to read some of your works. Continue reading me so that your kind of motivation improves me further.

the ultimate love poem with the naked truth as a background!
i don't know why but it reminds me of the tragedy of romeo and juliet and the love that can't or shan't exist in real life ..
sheer beauty dear one

I will consider this as my most successful composition so far if it reminds you even something near to romeo and juliet. I am feeling speechless with this comment of yours Ophie. While composing the poem my intention was to be straight and frank from the heart and at the same time to write a very plain and simple poem.
Can't believe I missed this one!!

Thank you for bringing me back here, Anando. This work is soooo beautiful. The very first stanza had me melting and the second and third were the killing blow. Such romantic craftsmanship! Such belief in a greater calling! Even if it goes unfulfilled just to feel that is a boon, to express it, an even greater gift. I am in awe of you today, good poet.

Hey Hey...I have come across so many praisers for this one...but the least effort I put into this one...kinda straight from the heart...like Kolaveri D...I am glad you read this one.
re: re: beautifully lovely....
:P kolaveri dee.....
ha ha, yeah right...infact..i feel that the most effortles of all things can actually do wonders...u have already illustrated its example...ppl love kolaveri dee, though its something which the entire nation does not undertsand,...its almost gibberish...and look at 'chammak challo'...or 'chiggy wiggy' they brought in akon and kylie...just to produce such awefull numbers....(i mean, i personally didnt like both of them)
hence, ur effortlessly brilliant in this poem...wat Baldassare Castiglione calls 'sprezzatura'
:P
