What do you like to cook and what music are you into?

Iím a big fan of cooking homely meals. They make me feel connected to place.

As for music, I seemingly never grew out of my heavy metal phase and have an extreme penchant for Rammstein. However, Iím also the living embodiment of the word eclectic, and like most music. Highlights for me at the moment are Phoebe Bridgers, Hozier, Fink, Wolf Alice & Girl In Red.

I donít drink alcoholÖ T-Total. But I do enjoy a cup of tea.

Well, a few.

OkÖ ALOT.

Like vats of tea.

Letís not fuck about, just empty a reservoir, and pour the tea straight in, and weíll be getting close to a healthy estimation of tea consumption.

tea is delish. I love tea.

I can cook anything, Im just not a baker.
You want beef wellington?  Boom. lets make it.
You want stew?  Im make the best
You want egg whites with healthy fats for a special diet?
I can do that too!
I cook/meal prep every week, sometimes 2x a week.
I do not eat premade food. If ever. maybe 2x a year due to unforeseen circumstances.
I am a drinker as you know. "Nough said

I LOVE all music from classical to Cajun, to the Beatles to Deftones to 90s dance music to Slipknot to all in between......

Do you do the bubba tea?

Oh God, Iím envious of people that can meal prep. I just donít have the freezer space, sadly. However, I do cook almost everything from scratch, so itís not like Iím bowing at the altar of convenience or anything. Cooking grounds me, so I enjoy it.

Iím so glad you said Deftones. They take me to a very odd place, but I like it. Iíve seen Slipknot live 6 times. Very grateful I got to see Joey Jordisonís revolving drum kit before he died.

Fun fact: I may be English, but I honestly think The Beatles are one of the most overrated bands in history. Controversial, but true. 🤫

Bubble TeaÖ. Oh god yes. I donít have it too often because high sugar can set off my condition, and Iím lactose intolerant, so I tend to stick to the fruit juice teas. But yeahÖ. Super yummy. I like the popping boba, but not too fussed on the tapioca balls. ÖLike what are you, a pudding or a fkn drink?! 🤣

Ive seen them about 12 times. And I totally agree. JJs revolving set was the best. No one can top that. Chino Morino ooozes sex in my eyes and ears. lol!

I also like to clean house to 90s dance music. haha

I love tea. but with raw honey.
I am gluten free and have other digestive issues so I understand.

cooking clean for me is saving my life literally. Im allergic to whey. I cant do lactose, I cant do a lot of those chemicals they put in our food either....I wish I weighed less  but being in menopause and indulging in the drink, Im working on it. Im all in on being a "gym rat" at the moment.  I have a home gym. here at the house.

Do you enjoy classical music?

Joey Jordison was just god tier. He sadly had the same condition as me which forced him to leave Slipknot, so I feel an affinity with him. I can only imagine the heartbreak of not being able to do that one thing you love because of it.

12 times thoughÖ get in! 😂🤘🏻

Reminds me of KoRn in my teen yearsÖ 28 times. And I once camped out just to see their tour bus. But they did sign my Vinyl. So Iím happy.

Yeah, thereís a lot to be said for diet and how much it can benefit us. Iím swaying more and more to that side of the tracks. Iím addicted to swimming, and I donít think Iíd be as far along the recovery journey in terms of physio without it. So I hear ya.

ClassicalÖ I actually kinda do. Iíve seen Ludovico Einaudi, Alfie Boe, and Andrea Bocelli live. But I appreciate different types. We (the other half and I) watch The Proms every year, and recently Iíve been touched by the performances of Sheku Kanneh-Mason, a cellist. Classical for me is more about feeling into it, to feel what moves me.

Ive seen Korn since their underground days!   WOW!    lol  ill raise you a show!  lol

JJ:  He sadly had the same condition as me
Its in our fam as well. Its sad. I hope you do not suffer too much, dear. I walk funny and therefore I have to tell work people why. It sucks. Sometimes I dont say shit. then I regret it.
And as many times as I have had covid, Im wobbly and the brain fog is terrible. I do my best. shit Im 50. I should retire....

As far as classical, My fave is the cello and the violin. They can bring me to my knees and to tears.
Bocelli is amazing. The others I have heard of from my MIL, but havent really given them a chance due to shes my MIL.  shame on me. dang. I shall after today. <3

What would you say was your most memorable show?
Ö I think Iíd probably have to say Muse on the Drones tourÖ I donít think Iíll ever see anything like that again.

Possibly Slayer, because I got an accidental black eye after I went in drunk and got elbowed by a man in a dress.

Ahhhh, youth. 🤣

Yeah, Covid has a lot to answer for but thatís a whole other discussion. Iíve had it 3 times now and it floors me every time because of the condition.

Hope you can check out some of the classical peeps now. They are worth it.

As far as Slipknot, I would have to ask the hubs. he has the ticket stubs. We got married, bought a home and birthed some babies, all the while with them as a band we loved.

My most loved show was Stone Temple Pilots...they played at a place here in Michigan, the Miland Dragway....way early 90s. I wasnt even 21. My boyfriend at the time was.  Best. Fucking. Show. Ever.
Slayer is bad ass.
I actually love their Reign in Blood IS MY FAVE.

What was your very first live show?

Ill never for get mine!

I shall give my MILs  classical choices a chance, starting tonight....<3

My first gig was Breed 77. It was the day Dimebag Darrell got shot, because I explicitly remember them paying tribute by playing Panteraís ďwalkĒ on stage and the whole crowd were just there screaming REÖ. SPECTÖ WALKÖ quite a moment.

Yes,,, raining blood is amazing. Infact the whole album slaps. The 80ís produced some of the best thrash we have.

Also, stone temple pilots I can totally get behind.
