I Think I Remember
I think I remember how we met.
I remember smiling at my screen while we spoke for hours on end.
The beginning to the longest chapter of my life (thus far)
I think I remember the feeling of asking you out.
The feeling was similar to getting on a rollercoaster for the first time, not knowing all the ups and downs that are yet to come.
I think I remember falling in love.
Hearing your mind so eloquently spoken with that beautiful voice of yours. Seeing you smile as you share your interests with me.

Why did I let our trust turn into spite?
Why did I let go of my privacy rights?
Why did I let us get into pointless fights?
I loved you to no end.

For The Wyn
It makes me sad to see you go
Living life and going with the flow
You were once my reason to wake up
Now I feel helpless like a little pup
Memories replay in my mind
Only the ones that were kind
I know I should move on but it’s too hard
My love for your stays in my head barred
The only time I feel happy is when I’m drunk
Other than that my emotions stay sunk
I would kill to hold you right now
In my arms while I read you my vow
You left with memories and my secrets
You took it all and left me sleepless
I pray and pray...

Perfect eyes
Perfect nose
You’re perfect all around
From your head to your toes.
Girl you make me euphoric
Your smile is my cocaine
I want your hand grabbing mine
Linked together like a steel chain
You know I’m infatuated
One might even call it an addiction
My emotions towards you are so unreal
One might consider it science fiction

You produce emotions within me
Emotions words could never explain
Now I’m left alone in my dark mind ...

What is it I want with you?
Am I blinded by emotions?
I have no clue!
You hold my hand
and kiss my face
But I’m always in last place.
You talk about me running through your mind
But I’m tired of always being left behind.
You’re a different person when we’re alone.
You make it seem like it’s our zone.
You let me kiss down your jaw bone and moan in every single tone.
Just let it be known that I’m still prone to being hurt by your heart of stone.
It’s like you only want to be entertained.
Feels like you got me chained....

Knowing my chances are slim.
You were dancing and smiling
Close to him and grinding.
I’ll be honest, it hurt
It made my feelings alert .
I couldn’t stand it
You stole my heart like a love bandit.
I guess it was one of those nights,
Where all I want is to hold you tight.

Us two, under one sheet.
I want you to know that I’ll do anything for you,

Why do you hate me?
Is it my skin?
Is it too much melanin or not enough?
Or is it my origin?
Is it because my life is too easy or too rough?
Is it because of my religion?
Or is it because I'm too holy or too full of sin?
Maybe it's because of my sex?
Is it because I never know what to do next?
I'll probably never find out why you hate me.
And I've learned to not worry about it.
Bigotry is a disease with no cure.
And sadly we are all infected in one way or another.

Does wasting my time makes you feel bliss?
Tell my friends you like me
But tell me we can't be
Invite me out to eat
But say you won't cheat
You know I'm addicted
And all this pain inflicted
Is just a wake up call
To stop falling for you and stand tall

I wish I could lie to myself,
And finally put these thoughts on a shelf.
Nights like these are daunting.
The memories, oh so haunting.
Do I ever just pop into your head?
The thought of us on my bed?
Holding hands and staring at the roof.
What did I do? Was it me, the goof?
Do you think of how it began?
You a young girl and I, a young man.
I asked for help just to talk to you.

Get up, get up
Time to live, you little pup
Meet me at the small cafe
So we can drink and talk all day
Then later, together we shall wander
Sit on the grass and begin to yonder
Look and watch time fly by
No time to be sad, no time to cry
Things could always be worse
You could be in the back of a hearse
They say we aren't normal
But judge us when we try to be formal

It crashes all over my mind,
Like vast waves in deep ocean.
It's a mental ghost,
Haunting me where ever I go.
It's a parasite, and I'm the dreadful host.
My life is a song on repeat,
Every day the same thing,
Heard it so much I know every beat.
Why can't I be happy?
All I can do is pretend,
but It just makes me feel more crappy
